I agree. There are many games that take up 3 and 4 gigs and I bet if you average all the partial mandatory installs for the ps3 it would be about 2 to 3 gigs. Casuals want simple where you put a game in and play like the 360 with no mandatory installs period. With the ps3 you have to worry about installs, space, settings, constant firmware updates. This site worships sony as a god and includes $ in ms. Enough said unless you want biased information with the front page usually covered daily in sony news. There is a very small community of ms fans still holding on but they are trounced on and reported on daily by sony fans who badmouth ms and nintendo and are bubbled up for it.
They add up and theres a bunch of little things and why I choose to game one the 360 when I own both consoles. The ps3 is just too much of a hassle for me and xbox has had over a gig of cloud storage since they started the concept. On the 360 its all these little things it does which makes live worthy of the forty a year I give for it. This is my opinion and I know it wont be popular as I dont praise Sony very much anymore.

Rephrase..like when sony said the ps2 would look like toy story. I remember all the things sony said about the emotion engine and then the ps3 with giant enemy crabs and pre rendered cut scenes being passed off as in game.

The ps3 is a terribly designed system with updates thrown ontop of updates. What surpises me is pirate tom one of the big sony fans on here has had three ps3s die and he still thinks sony can do No wrong.i personally have had two ps3s die and my launch 360 died earlier this year. Just from what I read on here from sony fans shows that alot of ps3s have been repurchased because of bricking while ms when they had issues replaced them all free under warranty and ms is supposed to be the bad guy....
If sony would have put more streamlined ram in there console and made it easier for.devs to learn then maybe they wouldnt have so many devs making crappy games or better games on the 360. It really does depend on cutscenes as skyrim was only a 4 gig game not even half of a 360 disc with zero installs required on the 360 version. The ps3 will have some type of install for sure but I know the 360 is required to have full game install options on all games and I hope sony follows through and allows full game install on this as well or the load times on the ps3 will be mgs4 load times.
Sony will never bring aboard the casuals as the archetecture of the machine is based on a computer. Way to many installs and firmware updates and then you have the harddrive issue and the xmb not being easy for the casuals to use.
