This is already being implemented. Anyone who plays Street fighter 5 would know. Capcom have been advertising for their tournaments during the loading screens. Capcom has not expanded it to other retail companies but that could be next.

Nope! 70 dollar games are not okay but, Game Pass helps to soften the hit because I can still play newly released games day and Date without the full price upfront cost and I can purchase when the game releases or later if I choose.
If the roles were reversed it would only mean that I would have to buy a Playstation to play COD. Like all the other exclusive that I need a Playstation to experience.

Some of these guys really don't want it go too badly. But facts like how antitrust laws work get in the way of what they would like the outcome to be.

The FTC might challenge it. But at the end of the day the acquisition is not illegal. So this will go through. The acquisition does not and, will not stifle competition in the gaming landscape.
ABK wants to be acquired. Even if it has to sell off its studios one by one to MS who will pay for them.
Sony is the only one in opposition of the merger. While other governments and companies have not objected
It is more advantageous to buy the developer(if they want to be acquired) and the teams to create that particular game and others in the long run than to keep money hating individual games for long periods of time.

To help develop more games especially in the FPS space. Yes, bungie would only agree to acquisition if they stay independent. BUNGIE put it in their contract and Sony agreed. Sony Who continues to pay to keep games off the Xbox platform. Stellar Blade was multi plat but now exclusive to ps and FF7 Remake and Final Fantasy 16. RE Village contract and COD contracts to keep them off of Game Pass.

If you have played Gun Grave 1 and 2 it's the same but flashier. A lot more abilities and finishers. I like the sound track so far as well. I'm enjoying it

COD Will stay on PS but with MS now determining the conditions. So COD will have parity across platforms, can/and will be put into Game Pass and, Sony cannot put it on the PS+ tiers of service.
The Series S can run Assassin's Creed Valhalla at 60 frames. I think that developers are not utilizing hardware to its fullest. The developers of Dirt 5 and Digital Foundry both confirmed that it is not difficult to graphics/performance scale on the Series S.
The value of Game Pass is different like Onisama said above.
A good library of Day and Date games are awesome to have, and why I sub.
