Yes the games that Bungie will make going forward are multiplat but, that still means that Sony will reaps the benefits of creating a great alternative to COD. A new IP that they will own.
If Sony focuses their efforts with Bungie, a consistent FPS developer, It is definitely possible to create a great alternative to COD.
The game doesn't have to dethrone COD to be a great game

This is why reviewers take on a game is subjective. I understand if technically the game doesn't not work or is extremely buggy.
But from what I've played so far the game is fun and the comedy is hilarious!
