I'd like to either see a Switch Metroid Prime game made by a Retro studios, or an Other M tier game made by Platinum since Nintendo has shown with Bayonetta 2 it's possible.
Battlefield 1 DLC, Battlefront 2 Gameplay, Need for Speed: Payback, FIFA 2018, Madden 2018, NBA LIVE returns.
I say Dragon Quest builders: It takes the Minecraft formula and makes it into a charming game of it's own with that Dragon Quest feel to it. The characters, the world, the music, actual quest, the little jingles, and even the RPG elements added to building make the game feel more like a Dragon Quest game, influenced by Minecraft then a Minecraft clone with Dragon Quest elements to it.
I'm all those things and more thanks to video games.
I expect a lot of games that we won't see for 2 more years, Kingdom Hearts 3 Trailer ending with "Coming soon", Final Fantasy VII remake with "Now in production" at the end, and offerings from their European devs of games that will actual release this year.
Agreed honestly, The Wii version of Black Ops was actually pretty fun, and accurate with the pointer controls, hoping this emulates that with the joycon.
Really? Splatoon 1 had a story mode for people who wanted to delve into it, and even had collectibles that fleshed out the world. I like that Nintendo doesn't let story get in the way of gameplay.
I agree, hopefully this is more because of Hori's poor choice in design and not necessity, the Switch console does have a microphone in it, so perhaps this was only made to show off the ability to chat using the app, instead of showing the NEED for it.
I would imagine Fast and the Furious got their idea from Need for Speed, the games came out in the Early 90's
I don't think the Switch is that bad, it's weaker, but the reality is a console is only as good as it's software. The Switch is still and up and coming console so to compare to consoles that have had 3+ years on market isn't really fair.
We can preach about power power power, but if console gamers really wanted power they'd be playing on PC, consoles are about simplicity not power.
And even when, it's up to the devs to optimize th...
Actually i'd argue that the 3DS has more JRPG's than Vit or PS4. Bravely Default series, Fire Emblem series, Pokemon, Shin Megami Tensei 4 + Apocolypse, Etrian Odyssey, Mario and Luigi series, and more.
JRPG's have mostly gone to portable platforms, the biggest PS4 JRPGs atm are Persona and Final Fantasy XV, the rest are mostly offered on other platforms.
The best console is the console that first you needs.
Do you like Nintendo games exclusively and don't care about PS4 or Xbox games or power and are willing to wait for the best titles? Get a Switch.
Do you like Sony's offerings and don't care about the competition? Get a PS4.
Do you care about MS' offerings and don't care about the competition? Get an Xbox.
Do you prefer variety and graphics over ...
I'd choose the PC over the PS4 anyway honestly, move diversity.
Are you sure? Because XV was delayed for 10 whole years, they went though the entire Final Fantasy 13 Trilogy which ended up being decent but not the best. I feel like it's more likely XIV worked out because it's an MMO and it only makes sense to be improved overtime and constantly be fixed and worked on as opposed to a single player experience that usually has only one shot to prove itself.
Like most games made by Square it seems like it's going to be an overly ambitious, but ultimately flawed game that will be loved by their fans, but met with lukewarm reception to everyone else.
I see where you're coming from but Nier Automata was made by Platinum and only PUBLISHED by Square Enix
As a developer Square Enix's track record is spotty, for every good game they have a bad one, or they have a game that they've announced years and years go but still hasn't released.
As a publisher square is interesting, they support games like Hitman, Nier., and Tomb Raider which are all diverse titles. I guess like any publisher their...
The promise was that it would be out by a certain date, and it didn't meet that date, so the promise was broken.
If you say you'll be somewhere at 5pm and you show up at 7pm then you didn't stick to your word, even though you showed up there period. I know being fans of certain companies it's tempting to defend them, but we don't really need to defend them.
Personally i'm just glad the game came out sooner than later.
This is a solid article. Honestly all they did was list off what Sony has and has not kept up with since last year, I can see how people can get salty over them singling out Sony, hopefully they ask the same of the other 2 big companies.
I already made up my mind that most of the games shown at E3 are subject to delays or won't be out for a while, but I honestly do enjoy the show for what it is and the showcase of games i'm excited for being shown or series I like h...
I don't really get why comment is getting hate, he's saying he enjoyed a game, and he said it's been a good year for PS4 and even stated the obvious that's something ALL companies do, they release trailers for their games usually a good period of time before so when it releases it's met with great anticipation.
Childish? I like both games a lot, but you're telling me a game where they have a giant Panda and a basically a soap opera between angry family members who are half demons is any less childish than super human beings? They're both fantastic games and Injustice 2 has some of the best facial tech ever, not to bring down Tekken or anything, because they're both fantastic.
