This is true honestly, we just get so used to the shit that we deal with it, then when they do right by us we act like it's a blessing when in reality it's the bare minimum.
This is some premium bait. Everyone will probably just swoon over their platform of choice and crap on the other two.
All 3 have their strengths and weaknesses.
All in all I think all 3 can improve in some ways: Nintendo can listen to their audience more when it comes to limited items, or high demand items, maybe implement some kind of agreement with U.S retailers to limit sales of items to 1 per person/family. Their virtual console offerings also need t...
chrisx i respect your opinion but your bias towards Sony is so overwhelming actual discussion on how they can improve flies under the radar.
I'm not anti Sony or anything, I love all things gaming, but it's weird to see a consumer so dedicated to a company to the point that they consider themselves "spoiled"
It's like someone's asking how they can improve, but the person who has a couple ideas is drowned out by someone who's...
Good to hear it, refreshing to see innovation meet success.
At first i was bothered, but when I think about it, I'd like a Pokemon game built from the ground up for Switch instead of a port which may carry over issues that come with ports.
Hoping to get this day 1, enjoyed playing it with my brother, the lobby system is pretty innovative.
ARMS actually allows you to play with traditional controls, motion controls, handheld as well, there's 5 different ways to play it, with 4 of them being traditional controls, so there's no forcing any kind of gimmick on you. And depending on who you ask, some people prefer it, I personally liked the traditional control of the game.
And as you said, Star Fox Zero was mediocre because of forced motion controls, a lesson they've learned which is why it isn't fo...
True. It's disappointing the game could be so much more, but they'd rather show off the next Final Fantasy over great Dragon quest games then wonder why it's failing.
That's pretty lame, the youtubers take time to find the best kills, edit the videos, and polish them, they should be given some credit for it, especially if their viewers enjoy it to the point where they're getting large numbers based on them.
Yeah I agree. Paladins feels a bit more fluid for some reason.
If MS can announce a bunch of new IP's at E3 that will also run super smooth at a higher resolution then they may be able to gain back the momentum they needed all along.
I appreciate the Dragon Quest series way more than Final Fantasy or Kingdom Hearts from Square Enix, the stories tend to be more mature and treat the characters world with respect without the need for over-complicating things, and the art style style makes you think it's going to be a cutesy game, but it does touch on a lot of heavy themes such as dark magic, slavery (in DQ 8) , Morality, Racism, and more.
While Final Fantasy tends to focus on Crystals, overly complicat...
@MunchMiller00 The question is if people actually cared, those are people, who clearly cared, it doesn't matter the number.
Just because you don't care doesn't mean you have to talk down to anyone bringing it to your attention.
Considering 15K people reblogged/commented on the original post of it, i'd say yeah...
@AspiringProGenji Don't you ever get tired of kissing up to Sony? They are where they are now, is because MS out the gate made so many poor choices which lead to negative hype, and killed their momentum right away, allowing Sony to see that, and sell the PS4 as the opposite of everything bad MS was offering, even though outside of exclusives they're both largely similar consoles.
I get tired of people trying to speak for everyone, i for one would love backwards comparability on my PS4. I don't want to have to pay for a service just to play my old games, and I don't want to have to keep dragging out my PS3/PS2/PS1 to play older games, or have to wait for Sony to upload ones for me to buy from their store front.
Just because people asking for it are in the minority it doesn't mean there's not a demand for it, even the CEO acknowledges ...
I disagree, I've seen a lot of games come out of Early Access and finally release, the issue is people buy them, forget they bought them, then complain that the game will never come out when they realize game development takes more than a couple weeks or months.
I mean we can complain about devs being scammers and trying to get money and never releasing the game or something, but it's the consumer who has to choice to buy it or not, and even if you do buy it you st...
Websites like Gamestop, IGN, Gameinformer, etc.
Established games media tends to fall for anything because they're looking for the clicks.
This is the most well rounded answer honestly, to some people Sony's offerings aren't enough to push em towards a console. For some the exclusives are.
For others Nintendo's lack of exclusives outside of the 3DS offerings isn't enough. But for some the 3DS and PC/Switch is all they need.
For many other MS' lack of exclusives aren't enough. But for some their friends have Xbox's or Xbox Live, so they stick with them.
