As Bojingles said, that doesn't make any sense, it's no even gonna use the full power of those consoles and it's digital only anyway.
I'm guessing they just need more time to polish the game or get the collector's editions out, which i have no issue with.
I think the only problem with it is that's a Sony device. Too many people burned by eyetoy/move/vita/vitaTV/3DTVs. All of those were the future, just like this one.
I disagree, I think Sony is interesting in going with whatever is popular, when the Wii became big, Sony made the Move, until the move stopped being supported by them, and since Oculus Rift came around, now Sony is making PSVR.
I wouldn't be suprised if Nintendo announced this in a Direct, I mean why not? They can do it on their own terms, and get people as hyped as they like, while Sony and MS events are neat, Nintendo has the luxury of Nintendo Direct.
Can we stop pretending PSVR will have more than exclusive glorified tech demos?
I'm not a Xbox Fanboy or a PC fanboy either, but PSVR seems like it will mostly be limited due to Sony, hopefully someone can make the thing work with PC.
I'm getting tired of these "opinion pieces" calling a device we literally know really nothing about a failure before anything is even shown. At least get some solid confirmed specs before you go pulling the rug from under people just genuinely excited for Nintendo's next step forward.
Say what you will of NIntendo, whether the NX is a handheld, console, or both, when Nintendo makes a move all eyes are on them, that's not bashing Sony or MS, but I look ...
I'm actually disappointed in this news, was looking forward to reviews to decide whether or not to play it, but I guess they'll be sending out review copies late to secure all those pre orders and sales without the risk of cancellation due to possible bad ones.
Considering none of the reviews are out yet, i'd say none until it's proven to be a decent game.
If you ask me it seems like Resident Evil goes a major reinvention every 3 mainline games, 1-3 (and it's spin offs and sequels) were one way, then came Resident Evil 4 - 6 (And revelations, mercs, and then some) which embraces the over the shoulder more action based gameplay even though Revelations was a little bit more of a return to horror.
And it seems now we're going into full first person and occult horror I understand people are afraid of change and keep sayin...
Maybe it's just me but i'm more in favor of devs pushing for 60FPS/1080P on consoles than I am 4K or HDR, I mean i love beautiful games, but it doesn't matter how good it looks if it's choppy.
Scropio is still about 14 months away. i'm not a fanboy but it's too early to call imo.
It looks neat but in all honesty I need to see some frame rate comparisons between a couple games before I decide to buy this baby for performance.
I think it's probably just best to wait for both of them to come out before saying that.
I wouldn't say it's "struggling" but they're REALLY spreading it too thin.
I agree with this, I see it's popular and i keep wanting to hop back in but in all honesty it's not a great package at all imo.
Mods are asleep I guess (assuming there are any)
I'll be honest, i'm sick of hearing about the game on BOTH sides, it's either people praising it too much or people bashing it for no reason or explaining why it's either special or lame.
And it's like....man..if you like the game so much go play it...if you hate the game so much stop talking about it.
You should open your mind to the game and let yourself be surprised instead of just shoehorning it into a category and dismissing it.
You know 11am Pacific is like 2pm EST, 1pm CST, and 12pm MT right?
I mean these aren't exactly near 4 am.
Anybody who bought a eyetoy/move/vita/vitaTV/3DTV which stopped being supported by Sony.
