@Chris_TC
I understand where your coming from. I too wish they would just make one gaming system that all games would be played on, but from the looks of things now, I don't see that happening anytime soon. But while I will say the whole exclusive thing is annoying for most people, it must be said that because of that exclusivity us as gamers were able to witness some amazing games. I'm not saying that exclusive games > mulitplat games, but even the devs behind...
So tempting to build a PC for this game, seeing to how I've been waiting for this more then anything, but I'm going to wait for the PS3 version. There are only two games I would want on PC and that's FFXIV and Starcraft 2, while with PS3 there are like 10+ games, along with FFXIV, and more coming out in the future that I'm looking forward to.
So for me it's either, pay $400-$500+ for a PC rig to play FFXIV (earlier) or wait the 6 months to get FFXIV... I...
Halo 1 had an amazing story that had you completely pulled into the game. Halo 2 had an addicting as hell online that I spent a few years with. From Halo 3 and on just wasn't good, IMO. It's sad to say, but Halo has become a franchise that will be milked to death, just like the MW/CoD series. MS knows that anything with Halo on it will sell and they will take full advantage of that, (Halo Wars and ODST were perfect examples).
Even to this day, I still consider Ha...
I was thinking that as well, but if they really wanted same day release then we wouldn't see the PC and PS3 version having a different release dates. And seeing to how everyone is on the same servers, despite what platform they play on, it wouldn't really make since to have PS3/360 version at the same time when they could of had the PS3 and PC at the same time. If that was the case, then we would see PC, PS3 and 360 March 2011.
So lame man... Oh well, I waited 6 years for Zipper's next SOCOM and GT5, I'm sure I can wait out FFXIV for PS3. Good things come to those who wait right???
I would understand why the PC version is coming out first, seeing to how it was made based on PC's layout, but to release the game on PS3 six months later is kinda dumb, IMO. I personally think SE should have both version ready for release at the same time so everyone can start together.
Not to mention of all the games coming out, FFXIV is the one I want the most and hearing the news on the March 2011 for PS3's release doesn't sit well with me. Let's hope SE...
I just want to see more footage from the beta like party gameplay or mage gameplay. The beta should be starting for PC in mid July, so hopefully we'll see some more on that around that time.
The only thing I would say pisses me off with MAG are the LMG, (spray and pray ALL DAY!), people and when your teammates just act stupid. Like, the anti air defense blows up and the 15+ repair guys in our platoon would rather repair something like a road block or a gate that's like all the way across the map far away from the given objective.
Despite that, I still love the game.
"Campers ruin online shooters"
I personally think it takes no skill at all to sit in one spot and just shooter whatever moves on your screen. I have become to not even like UC2 online anymore due to the booster "Situation Awareness", which is pretty much made for campers. For those who don't know, it's a booster where if your standing still you can hit "Up" on the d-pad and it will show where all the enemies are on your screen. You can...
lol, even then I still wouldn't trade in the PS3...... Unless PS4 can play PS3 games, if so, then done deal ^^b
Yeah, same here.
After seeing what they have done with the game now in beta, I am more the convinced that the game is going to be amazing. The thing that I think is crazy about it is that the videos shown show far is just a taste of the locations and what not in the game. There are a lot of screenshots that show completely different locations then what has been officially shown already.
I look at FFXIV as a game I will be playing for the next 3 to 5+ years, so I'm definitely looking for...
I was playing when all the sudden I got disconnected from PSN, and then I was prompted to download the version update in order to get back on.
It might of been just a random disconnect, since we had a storm around us...Idk..
I was playing Demon's Souls and got invaded right when they kicked me off to download to update. Good thing too, since I was in no way ready to fight an invader lol.
PS3, IMO, is just melting now. It's been on fire for quite a long time now.
After listening to the Zipper podcast ep. 9, I changed my view on SOCOM 4. To make a long story short, I look forward to seeing Zipper make a new experience with SOCOM 4, but at the same time, I hope they just don't forget what they did in the past with SOCOM 1,2 and 3. And most importantly not to forget what made those games so good, (especially SOCOM 2, IMO). The main big three games that I see myself playing for a very long time are Gran Turismo 5, Final Fantasy XIV and SOCOM 4, whi...
Well I won't lie, out of all the games shown for Move, this one got my attention the most. I think it looks cool and "might" even get me to purchase a Move controller.
It's so sad how true it is...
Looking good.
Maybe in graphics, but not in story.
