Nice to see info on this but I would rather see what the final gameplay, or better yet, the final build to SOCOM 4 will look like. *Crosses fingers for SOCOM 2 style gameplay shown at E3.*

But any who, I personally think it will have co-op in it. If I remember right, didn't the SOCOMs on PSP have co-op? If so, than it wouldn't surprise me if co-op is in SOCOM 4, which will just make the game even better for me.

Agreed, I still think people take it way too seriously about Sony removing the other OS feature. But just as the guy said in the article,

I would rather see something like God of War 3 vs Uncharted 2, (though didn't they do that already?). After getting a chance to get back on God of War 3 and start my second play through... man that game really looks good. I really hope future games take use of the AA system used in it.

Agreed, I can't really see MS making a new console/hand held either, or at least not this soon. The main reason is the fact that they will not have much support at all for the new console nor a hand held. They don't have their first party up to gear at all and they are slowly losing thrid party deals and support. They need to get this Natal stuff sorted out first and concentrate on building their first party up to have someone to fully support their product(s).

The only thing I would agree with is the last one, "Make the environments bigger". The game, IMO, wasn't that hard or anything... you just had to take your time with it. The way the reviewer explains it in this video is perfectly said about the game.

Yeah, hopefully Sony will have their PS3 stock ready this time when GT5 hits the stores and not have it slacking like it was around when FFXIII and God of War III came out.

Perfectly said. I too want to see MS do something "NEW". Improve their first party studios, make new IPs, stop throwing money and depending on third party devs and exclusive timed deals... DO SOMETHING MS!!!

Okay... first of all, what A LOT of people are once again missing here is that this gameplay footage is from the "ALPHA TESTING". Things are very much likely to change come beta/final build of the game, (graphics, gameplay, etc...)

What would probably catch me off guard this E3 would be the announcement of Elder Scrolls V or Demon's Souls 2.

They also have Crackdown 2 and Portal 2 coming soon and maybe another Forza or L4D?

I agree a lot with what your saying. It's really sad that a lot of gamers these days will never know the true SOCOM experience back then, and I find it really disappointing on how Confrontation gave such a bad impression to many of the new fans to SOCOM. Hopefully SOCOM 4 will show people what they missed out on back in the day.

Passion, innovation and quality. This is what I see in the eyes of the Little Big Planet creators. And that's what I find amazing about Sony's first party developers. SOCOM being on Halo's level? I would say SOCOM isn't as known has Halo is. But IMO, I'll play SOCOM over Halo ANY DAY.
