I personally still find MGS 3 being the best MGS so far, ***IMO***. But I will say MGS 4 was easily one of the best games this gen so far.
No biggie for me really, just means money saved on my part.

If the rumors about it not RRoDing like the previous ones are true, then maybe I would pick one up for myself. Then again, the only games I would really play is Phantasy Star Universe and FFXI on it..
Yeah, I agree with that too. Pretty much they should make everything unified with the PS3. The thing that gets me about Sony and PSN is that I know Sony has the potential to make PSN a better service, but they are focusing more on other things at the same time to much to really worry about it like they should, (3D movies/gaming, Motion controller, etc...). I'm not saying it's a bad thing, but Sony always does so much at the same time that not every thing gets the attention it needs...

Yeah, Demon's Souls was my pick of 2009. Uncharted 2 is still a great game though, and tbh, the multiplayer/online coop had me hooked. Not to mention, Uncharted 2 was my first PS3 to get a plat trophy on.

So I guess Polyphony Digital (people behind GT5) aren't pushing their game nor budget with GT5??? Then there are games like Demon's Souls, FFXIII Versus, hell, even FFXIII was a risk in itself being linear and going multiplat.

There will probably be more classes out in a year or so. I was thinking of not going too crazy with the jobs out now just in case they release a new job that I become to like more then the basic ones. My starting job will be Lancer and then maybe I'll try one of the mage classes.
I don't even know why people would want a PS4 right now. IMO, PS3 has reached the point of not even being on fire anymore... it's just melting now. And with all the attention it's getting and all the games that are coming out soon, why would they make a new console??? I personally see at least 3 or more years left on the PS3 before Sony moves on to next gen stuff.

I started FFXI on the 360 and was lost as hell the first day. Coming from PSU, (Phantasy Star Universe), I figured FFXI would have a wiki page and ever since I found it I was always on top of everything.

Yes, FFXIII looked really good and all, but that game was made from scratch based off of the PS3's structure. FFXIV was made based off of PC's structure and building a game on a PC, (where there really isn't any limits to how good you can make a game look), then porting it to a console that has it's limits and completely different structure is another story. Not to mention, this is an MMO, where there can be more then 25+ people on the screen at once, along with mobs and wha...
I'm pissed about it too but it just means that the PS3 version will have more content on launch come March 2011, if they do version content updates during the 6 months. Not to mention, there are a lot of games that will keep me busy until then that are coming out Q3-Q4 2010. Sad to say FFXIV isn't one of them, but all is still good.
