I'll admit I have bought gold before, back in the days when I used to play WoW. The basic way I justified was actually quite simple. Gold farming is tedious, boring, and in no way fun for me. And back in the day it could take 10 hours to get 100 gold. Some could do it in a shorter amount some took longer but basically it took at least a day. However I could simply work at in a job for an two hours and have enough to buy 200 gold. It's cheating to be sure on my part, to hell if I'm going to se...
Not even in the slightest.
I demand at least 2 Petaflops!
OK so that's a bit unreasonable...but I still demand it!
I never understood brand loyalty. It's such a silly concept. Personally I will go with whatever gives me the best bang for my buck. For me that the 360, now had I had an HD TV, it probably would have been the PS3. But sadly, no HD TV...unless someone wants to give me one?

please?
Bummer...
Viva la Firefox!
I find it funny you said "u cant stop fanboys from being fanboys" it's like an overweight man telling another overweight man he's fat.
Your original point that people need to stop comparing the two is very correct, but then you went on and ruined it with your own bit of fanboyism by well comparing the two. Ahh well.
You got that from a 2 min or so rail video? That err amazing, not that you got that from the short video, but that you're so involved with which is better you have to make crap up... Amazing!
Well it's still using the UR3 engine so what did you expect?
So the game looks great in motion, yet some people seem to care what it looks like in still frame? Have gamers really become so jaded?
Except Sony didn't make the Cell. True they were part of the group that made the chip, but the chief creators were IBM and to a smaller extent Toshiba.
It's not a matter of if it can work, but rather who much work will it take to make it work better than other options. The problem comes mainly from the horrible BEQ predictions the Cell has.
Yes it always tickles me when a company says no, but the stockholders say yes. Just makes me giggle is all.
Call me blind but I have only noticed 3 pop ups in about 14 hours of playing. And 2 of those was during the opening cutscene.
I see it, for the time being, mostly used for restaurants, interactive maps or any other commercial use.
Lazy no, but a direct kick between the legs are far as DRM goes, yes, very much so yes, ohh God of all that is holy yes!!!
Really who ever thought of the 10 day thing needs to be seriously hurt...preferable with lots and lots of tiny nerf balls.
I don't recall ever saying they didn't use such tactics... Only that I have yet to meet a company that does not use the tactics, to some varying degree.
The "translating the "fun"" that you speak of takes R&D. I don't think it's them who "fail"...
Enh on this site, you can never be sure of when people are and are not joking.
The article was about how BR disc sales are fairing in the current market. Not to sure why every thing has to be "HD lost so this article is just from some pathetic HD supporter," though in fairness it probably was posted just to piss the likes of you off.
Cherry-O
Well the main point of my post was the hypocrisy of you calling other people fanboys when you yourself are/acting one.
