Anyways programming for 4 cores is damn hard enough, hate to be the guy who has to do it for the 1000+ this thing has. It's a parallel programming nightmare!

Well I enjoyed the game for what it was so, I could really care less what others thought of it. Call me silly for thinking that way. :)

I suppose he does, but I could really care less about console defense, so for me it just comes down to price vs difference. And right now(for this poor man) that difference is not enough, but maybe when players and TV come down to something I can afford!!!

Hits the nail on the head there. Not that I wouldn't mind have an HD TV/BR player but is it worth it's current price? Not a chance!
Putting aside weather you like or dislike MS, I found it funny that Yahoo's reason was because it was not in the best interest of the company. OK fine and dandy, funny though how a very large portion of the people who actually own the company(stock holders) disagreed.

Throw in 150 for monitor, 35 for case and 35 for PS and you have a PC(mine) that can run the game on all high with 45ish FPS.

How is the game, not the PS3 vs 360 hardware, more dependable?
Read the post below, just going off what a man who programmed for both told me when he guest spoke to our CS department.
Since I didn't record the lecture the speaker gave and there is no semi official post so you can either do a "Xenos pc graphic card" search on Google and then one for the PS3.
(note the PS3 no says the 7800GTX512, same as the 360, on some and 7600 on others)
Either way that's what the programmer told us and what I believe, weather you believe me well I could care less. Either way, enjoy the search. :)

There is a reason I put that there... Accord to someone who worked on the PS3 version and to a lesser extent the 360 version of Star Wars Force Unleashed the 7800/7600 are a basically whats under the hood of the respective hardware in terms of graphics cards. Is it the 78/76, no, but the cards the 360/PS3 have, have about the same power as those two cards. Hence the "kind of."
So you will forgive me if I take a programmers ...

It's nice to see some upcoming fixes but what kind of irks me is that most of the current issue could have easily been sorted out in Beta.

Not really... it cost someone money to host a server and make ongoing updates, so it's not unfair to request a small fee. The fact that PC games have enjoyed free updates should be taken as a blessing.
Not advocating abuse here, but this is exactly why(on occasion) kids need to have their butt slapped till it damn near falls off.
Honestly I never played GW so I can't relate it to that but I'll try explaining it.
Basically every single area of the game has a player cap. This cap is set at or around 40-50. Once this is reached another copy of the town/zone/dungeon is created.
Now as for groups, well pretty much everything I have played, save a few areas that you expect to group(think WoW's pre 60 dungeons), has been nothing but solo so I only grouped once and that was because there were 3 of us...

UI- horrible, could be forgiven but really in this day and age it's no excuse to have a bad UI at launch.
Bugs- yea yea expected at launch. How about the poor Bear Shamans who are missing almost half their skills? Or the numerous other classes who skills don't work. Skill tweaking is fine and to be expect, skills not working on the other hand should have been dwelt with in beta.
