Though I don't own one myself a few of my friends do and it's a niffty little device. Love the song sharing idea.
Why is that?
*sign* the iPhone, why pay half the price for a better blackberry when you could get an iPhone that does less!
So basically this is a poor mans programming tool...
Basically you write your code as you would in either C or C++ and the compiler complies it into something the Cell can work with. But that in itself is a problem because when you use a compiler to generate code into another language, like writing something in C and then using a compiler to give you it's equivalent in Mips, always gives you unoptimized code.
So it works, but not as good as it could.
Well in my opinion after getting to level 32 I can honestly say I doubt I will be keeping my sub.
There are quite a few reasons for this ranging for to much use of instances, horrible UI, and I just find that it is missing something. Maybe it's the fact that even though there are(I guess around 50 or 60) quest in the beginners isle, most of them involve me being a 230 pound delivery man. I know every MMO does this, but having to do it some 40 times just get so very old.

The only really hard part about programming on the PS3(as told to us by a PS3 programmer) was because of the absolutely horrible branch prediction the system has. So I can very well see why it would be hard to code if you had to limit your BEQ statements.
Meh after last years E3, I'm expecting so little from it this year.
Because they don't compress it. You can actually fit a HD movie on a double sided dvd if you were inclined to do so.
Actually they could disagree with you're idea that having this little device is better than say, I don't know, going outside and jogging, but that's just a guess. :)
And a year ago all of the articles said how great Lair was going to be, yet look how that turned out...
Now saying LBP is going to be some huge failure, but...
Did you mind swapping disc when you played FFVII?
Actually they had 3 open betas. One was a general open beta, another was a stress test of the sorts, and the last which was last weekend was a pvp one.
So yes, they had an open beta. :)
^^^
See whereas I agree with Time. :)
Kind of sucks, but I guess they would of have to.
Drum set aside, what made Rock Band better in my opinion was the excellent implementation of DLC. They have 3 new songs come out almost every single week, and have it so you can download them all from an in game menu. It's just better.
All caps loses you bubbles. :(
"If you call yourself hardcore, you wouldnt buy this game either because it would defeat the term *hardkore*"
Sorry but that is such a load of crap. I've played, Crysis, GoW,RFoM,ME,Halo,CoD4,Splinter Cell, and soon Age of Conan, MGS4, and NG2 so by that list I am a *hardcore*, but gasp I've also played The Sims 2, Viva Pinata, Rock Band, and others that I would consider kids-teen games. A hardcore gamer as you call it is not defined by the types of games, but rather the...
As long as it has my Taki and Talim, I'm happy!
I liked it . *shrug*
And it will be at the very least 399,99 after this month. A lot more if you believe the forums. Aside from all the other issues I just simply refuse to pay for a game that use so many freking instances...
