I bought the Neo Geo back in the day from Babbages when they were doing a pack in deal. I got the system, Magician Lord, Fatal Fury, two controllers and a memory card...all for $699!!! This game was it for the day...but man was it tough!

I agree. This game should be re-released on PSN or XBLA. It's by far one of the greatest shooters of all time.

well, it is running on a heavily modified id tech 4 engine, which is a few years old.

It is really unfortunate that this game didn't get more press and marketing. The game might not sport cutting edge visuals, but it was still fun to play.

Awesome review! No spoilers!!! I am really enjoying Batman and I applaud the talented folks at Rocksteady and Eidos. You have done the Batman justice.

Well worth it! I bought my 60gb launch system when GameStop was giving a $100 trade in credit for the PS2. My PS2 (launch) was having issues reading some of my older blue bottom discs. So it was the perfect time to upgrade.

I am glad to see the PS3 version was so good! Now being able to play as Joker is icing on the cake! I was really worried it would have been a consolation prize. :D

I would take 3 dvds with instant launching over a single blu-ray with 5-9 minute installs like MGS4.

Actual footage from crysis or just ideas. Haven't seen the movie yet...and not sure if I will.

So they are a fanboy site because they show you what each version looks like....right. If you take a closer look you will see they give wins to the PS3 and sometimes the game ties. But you must really be in denial if you think that third party games are equal between the consoles. Sometimes they are...most of the times they are not.

We are used to texture issues on the PS3, but I have never seen FMV playback issues like that before. What the hell happened on the PS3 side?!?!

Great game! I used to play the hell out of this back in the day. I am looking forward to seeing how the remake plays and not to mention 4 player local and online support. Let's kick shell!!!

Can't wait for this game! I am currently playing RE:Chain of Memories on the PS2 (played the gba version) so I am currently getting my Kingdom Hearts fix. Looking forward to the new DS game as well. Bring on the PS3 version please!!!!

I just hope that the single blue ray disc won't have to install at every chapter like MGS4 did. If so, give me multiple discs any day.

Going by their verdicts it looks like BlazBlue tied because the PS3 had better controls and the Xbox 360 because of load times. Everything else was a tie (visuals and performance).

As for Wolverine, if you watch the video the textures were loading in. This is a common Unreal 3 issue and just happened to appear during that cutscene. Also, if you read their verdicts, the Xbox 360 version won due to better anti-aliasing, shadows and normal maps. Not to mention frame rate.

The game probably looks better on your TV due to the TV's settings. I am sure the colors on your monitor don't match your TV, so there is where the discrepancy is happening. They have posted some additional information on color accuracy in their "About Us" section.

Even the videos on this site show the same color differences:
