Spot on, I just can't justify the additional cost for PSN+. I mean the free PSN service is great and the only reason I have to shell out $50 a year for Xbox Live is for multiplayer.
Sony really needs to figure out a good angle for the additional costs. Heck, let me play Final Fantasy XIV for no additional cost or even a steep discount and then we will talk.
Awesome, then I will definitely be checking this game out.
Yeah, I have been meaning to check this acclaimed series out as well. Does anyone know if they are true sequels or like Final Fantasy where each one is a self contained story?
I won't adopt 3D tech for home until the polarized sets are affordable.
Great review for a great free game. While it isn't perfect, everyone should at least download this gift from Valve and give it a shot.
I agree, it is a little disappointing that they only included one single player campaign, but I guess Blizzard knows that people are playing this game for the multiplayer.
blah, looks like a re-marketed Zune logo. I will stick with the original, thanks.
I have to agree, I have played the beta for a bit now and it really doesn't bring anything to the table that hasn't already been offered. This game would have been amazing during the first Modern Warfare days, but now it just feels like an uninspired clone.
Let's just hope that the single player campaign is more original.
haha, yeah I agree. High Moon was wise to stay away from the Michael Bay feel for the game. You can actually tell what is happening on the screen!
Nice review, this is one game that I have been really wanting to pick up. I just have sooo many others to play through at the moment. It is really tempting since it is on sale this week for $49.00.
I am really not sure why everyone is dogging the visuals, sure it is Unreal 3, but it really doesn't look that bad and is an improvement on the source material that is Transformers. I dig it.

Best. 80's. Commercial. Ever.
you have to waggle. The control scheme is virtually identical to Mario Galaxy 1.
And why are we showing the CryENGINE 3 logo on this post? Ah...I love N4G...
I sure hope so because I am in the same boat. I thought the whole reason to preorder with them was to get the best price and the $10 credit. Now the day it is released they decide to drop the price and keep the credit! Crappy if you ask me...
I am going to have to agree on this one. As of right now...GOTY!
I have to agree. I know of a lot of people, including myself, that have moved on to greener pastures with Bad Company 2. Hopefully, the next incarnation of COD will use this game for inspiration.
They both seemed to have been poisoned.
Very true, but why do you take vitamin C to prevent colds? hmm...
Oh Hip Hop Gamer Show....
Seriously, Crytek couldn't give a flying flip about Killzone 3. First and foremost, Crytek develops CryENGINE as middleware, Guerrilla Games does not. So unless GG plans on making a cross platform (PC, PS3, Xbox 360)engine, which they won't, Crytek has nothing to worry about.
Just more made up crap by HHGS.
Because like every new service it has to bring something worth while to the table to survive and I feel that Sony hasn't done this yet. Yes, the PSN+ service will get better over time, but they need something to draw in an initial crowd.
