Thats the problem, no they wouldn't. Almost every review on those sites are copy and paste word for word.
"Even going all the way back to Ghostbusters, they were shown to be full of it. Not only did the developers themselves show they were lying, but Gametrailers did their own comparison and their was very little difference between the two. Far less than the difference LoT showed."
Do some research before spouting nonsense. They were 100% correct on Ghostbusters and confirmed by Arstechnica, Kotaku and Eurogamer.
And for the record, which multi-platform games d...
Just started playing it, but man that makes me sad. The first one was so well conceived.
Apparently you haven't been to their site recently.
Something fishy is going on with these images. I have a feeling they have mixed up a few. Take a look at this one, now the Xbox 360 has sharper textures:

I agree, it all comes down to performance. The other issue I have with this sites images is that they are inconsistent. Some images are further away, others have different angles and even weapons. Makes it hard to compare 1 to 1.
Personally, I had a great time with the demo. And visually, it was much better than I had expected.
Looks really nice, but unfortunately they aren't in game. They are in-engine...but done as a render. The antialaising on these images are off the charts.
I would have to disagree to some extent. It really depends, but if the port it done well it will be indistinguishable. But in the case of this game and the dreaded Bayonetta that is not the case.
You are correct though, a mid to highend PC will yield the best experience on cross platforms. Too bad I don't have a dedicated PC for my entertainment room. :(
"Stupid comparisons are only good for fueling fanboy wars "
No, it is called making an educated decision on which platform to purchase on...that is if you own both systems. Someone has to point out the differences since almost every other publication in print and on the web glosses over them.
Yeah, they really polished this game on the PS3. It will be interesting to see how well the patch for the Xbox 360 improves performance. Anyone know if that patch has been made live?
They did, it was in the Technical Score:
"Tie. The Xbox 360 has slightly better anti-aliasing and the PlayStation 3 has softer shadows, but overall both games looked virtually identical."
tell me about it, some serious talent in that thread. Page two has some interesting statistics on the characters themselves. For instance, Drake's in game model in 37,000 polygons (4k is for the hair alone).
And what does this have to do with this comparison? And since when does sound quality outweigh graphics, performance and loading? It doesn't. Sorry.
I have to agree, the art in this game looks rather rough at times.
Actually, having a DVD side is very handy for those that have families (ie: little kids). I prefer to buy all Blu-Ray, but it becomes a niche format in that it can only be watched on the PS3/Blu-Ray player. When on road trips it is nice to be able to watch the movies on portable DVD players. Or the ability to watch the movie in another room that doesn't have Blu-Ray.
Personally I like the method that Disney has adopted...include a full DVD along with the Blu-Ray.
Looks amazing! Seriously, if Nintendo would release a Wii HD that had 720p output and 4x anti-aliasing, I would be sold. Everything I have seen on the Wii emulator looks fantastic, I just wish Nintendo would have done this in the first place.
sigh...so...you basically want loading removed from all of their comparisons, that would make you feel better? But wait! If the PS3 wins for graphics and the Xbox 360 wins for performance...it is a tie. But I am sure you will still argue that they made a mistake and will bring up information from 6 comparisons ago... I have noticed when it comes to LoT there is no pleasing you. And as much everyone on N4G knows how much you hate them and think they are all liars you still watch every one of t...
"@ jaidek- Performance win for the PS3?! Did you just make that up?"
Nononono! You misunderstood, I was simply explaining, in plain english, to darkride66 why the Wolfenstein tied on LoT. He can't understand how a scoring system works. For that game it was Graphics: Tie, Performance: PS3 and Loading: Xbox 360. So in his eyes the PS3 was the clear winner. Thats the beauty of a tie, look at the data and choose which version has the features that are most important to yo...
I have to agree, BioWare nailed this game. All my complaints about the last game are gone!
