Not neccessarily an Indie game but from a new development team headed by the guy who created Rayman.
That's the thing people seem to miss when talking about this game is that Michael Ancel is behind it. The dude is a legend (which is why during the conference there was such a big cheer when he was introduced). The guy knows how to make good games & judging by his portfolio there is no reason this game won't be.

Sure the Vita lacks variety if you say so but the same can be said for the 3DS. Not to harp on the 3DS cause its not the subject but there isn't much variety on the system as well. It does so well cause Nintendo has the powerhouse titles to make up for it. There are barely any FPS on the 3DS, indies are sparse on it as well compared to the Vita.

Like i said they did. They released an Uncharted, they gave us Gravity Rush, Soul Sacrifice, LBP, Killzone. Still the Vita sold poorly.
Sony doesn't have the luxury of Nintendo to churn out a Mario game or Zelda game or Pokemon game to spur sales. They don't have the 'killer' franchise to rely on other than Gran Turismo but making a game on the Vita would slow down development on what most want a console GT game.

If you download the PT demo on the PS store & finish it, this is the trailer you will get at the end of it. It is a brilliant game reveal if i say so myself.

Although i admit that Sony has judged the Vita in the wrong way, their western push for the system is severely lacking.
However can you blame them. They pushed the system hard at launch with a lot of games, really good games at that. They tested the waters & do you know what they found? This is why game reviews & game journalism as a whole need to go back to the drawing board cause they seriously know nothing about the game industry.
This game is a 'joke' game. The developers know that, the people who play it know that (apparently this person missed the memo), & the publishers know that.
The game makes fun of the otaku culture, it doesn't take itself seriously, it makes fun of itself at times. Imagine Benny Hill as a game...

I loved the box stuff, i think its brilliant.
I'm just saying that this may be the reveal that the Famitsu guy was hinting at.

So i guess this is that huge 3rd party exclusive IP that was in the news a few days ago. If true this is absolutely huge & may possibly be a rebirth for the Silent Hill franchise.
Xbox got Tomb Raider, Playstation has Silent Hill. Survival horror reborn on Playstation.
If people cared at the beginning when the Vita was released than maybe Sony would have given the system even more exposure. However in the west people simply do not care for the system which is really unfortunate cause they are missing some awesome games Indie or otherwise.
TGS will be where the Vita will shine cause at least in Japan people actually care for the system.
I don't mind this is coming to PS4 cause since the Vita is such an under appreciated system not many were able to play this gem.
With this people will finally witness the charm & beauty of this game that so few of us were lucky enough to play on the Vita. Although LBP made a name out of Media Molecule, this game may take them to even newer heights that they deserve.
When Sony said they were reinventing the horror genre with this the first thing that came to mind was a sorta 'Heavy Rain' inspired game play.
The tag line of you decide who lives or dies makes me think it is more in lines of Heavy Rain.
Time to buy another one of the Miku games again like i did with the first one. Going to show Sega that us Westerners love & support more of these games.

The music to this game is fantastic! Tugs at the heartstrings & gives this game that emotional impact that many who have yet to play this game that moment that they are in for a ride.
As for the show it was awesome. The actors/actresses from this game is one of the reasons why this game garnered such high acclaim. Performances worth remembering.

When i was playing this game i realized halfway through that this is a 'so bad its good' kind of game.
The story is preposterous, the dialogue hilarious at times, the motivations of Zero makes Nathan Drake look like a saint. Zero murders people with reckless abandonment. If it wasn't for Mikhail her child-like companion who's innocence makes you smile there is really nothing about Zero to root for.

Sony has learned their lesson when announcing games, which is why i wasn't that surprised by not seeing Media Molecules or Guerrilla new game at Gamescom. If they aren't ready to be shown they aren't ready.
Sony doesn't want another Last Guardian on their hands. The game will be shown when it is truly ready to be re-announced. Otherwise they would've cancelled it like they did with Stig's game.
