I don't like Half Life anymore because it's obvious that it was developed by kids, soccer moms, and grandparents since those are the only ppl who buy Wiis.

I actually don't mind too much that companies release games using familiar icons as much as I do companies releasing games using different characters but w/ the exact same gameplay (ie many FPSs, sandbox games, racing sims, sports sims, etc). Hopefully Sonic Unleashed brings something new and successful to the table.

Well the description only says that clues are hidden in the moon, not that the moon itself is any indication as to what the clues may point to. Hiding clues in a moon graphic may mislead ppl to assume that the clues point to a new Harvest Moon, Metroid, Earthbound, etc. Then again, I'm probably being too skeptical of the whole thing lol
I tried staring at it as if it were a Magic Eye autostereogram but nothing really familiar popped out for me.

The problem w/ creating games designed for peripherals is that sales of a game are governed by market uptake of that peripheral. This isn't a problem for software designed for use with the Wii remote because everyone who owns a Wii is guaranteed to have the Wii remote. Obviously if MS's Wii remote-like peripheral sells well, then of course it can be a big threat to Nintendo.
