What an interesting panel ND held. It really opened up my eyes about why the character models they showed looked SO good. We may never see the ingame version look as good as those shown during the panel, not because of a downgrade but because of lighting and just the distance from the character. You might get a glimps of it in cutscenes but you may not. Good panel overall, especially if you're interested in getting into the industry or this type of work.

I'm gonna have to agree with you. Of all weird/bad characters that have been put into video games this is the one that is garnering all this hate...
Also, I understand that Neogaf is a huge community of gamers... but come on. No offense to anyone on Neogaf but about 1/2 the posters there seem to just want to post something that gets them "rep" from other posters. They seem to be just chasing the next "zing" so they'll say...
Oh.. it looks mediocre, how so? It seems most think it looked just fine, could use more work... like about 8 months more of work, but it's not schedule to release til late 2015.
As a PS4 owner, what games do you find above mediocre on the platform?
@mokkeyrg2 Search for the E3 reveal color corrected image, where they have it set to sunny, and compare it to the gamersyde video of the gameplay trailer and let me know what you think.
The differences between the two aren't as large as some are making out to be, especially for a game is is about a year away from being done. By the looks of it, they have taken a little of that "older" look that Drake had in the reveal trailer. The reveal trailers lighting looked...
The gamersyde video is much better, the graphics are great... but that's what I'd expect from the games coming out in 2015.
I find it funny that "gamers" complain about this gen being just a graphical update, but that's all anybody ever bring up or points out: where is the "next gen" they shout. When I look at the video on gamersyde do you know what I see? the animations. Drakes climbing animations a so varied, it's not just the same animat...
People can disagree with you all they want, but it is what it is. If SF5 is a FULL exclusive, it is basically a slap in the face to 1/2 of the fighting community.
Oh and if you were wondering I only have a PS4, always been a PS guy. This kind of thing, if it continues, will only end in more butthurt... stop being hypocrite, you know this isn't good.
@snookiegamer I just kinda threw that number out there, no idea how long if at all. My only point is that I don't think the fighting game community will be very happy about this.
There are gamers on both sides of the fence, PS & Xbox, who live for Street Fighter games... and Capcom knows this. For Capcom to agree to a FULL Exclusivity deal would kinda suggests that they're essentially turning their backs on 1/2 of the community they help build.

@Svinya Well... it is just a "grey ps4," what matters is the "nostalgia" attached to it. As someone who had a N64, I'm guessing you were a Nintendo guy? If you were and still are, then you should already know why people want this. Same reason why people went crazy for the re-release of the GameCube controller, same reason why people are going crazy for the 3DS with the NES graphics on the outside... Nostalgia.

@ritsuka666 I think that a lot of those buying up the amiibo are over 30 years old... and they're buying them to display. I think people don't give kids enough credit, kids these days are really smart. I understand why kids like SkyLanders and Disney infinity, but I don't yet see why kids would go crazy over amiibo. I'm sorry, but HALO is a much much more complicated online game than Smash. And I'll bet that HALO:MCC had way more people trying to get online at one time than their were on Smash. Besides if you're so disappointed you don't have to keep the X1, you can trade it in for a Wii and get Smash.
Then why do a lot of PC release still suffer from day one troubles? SIM City, Battlefield.. PC games have been doing online much much longer than consoles and should, by your definition, being a piece of cake.

Well... I would like to say I'm surprised, but I'm not. The years and years of good launched don't matter, it's only about what you've done lately... and I hate that about people. Couldn't agree more, Freedom of Choice. I feel like a lot of people forget that it's up to the individual to decide what they want or don't want.
