LOL never ceases to amaze me how immature grown people get when it come to defending something on the Internet. Take away the threat of repercussion and they revert to A-Holes, that's why things like Swatting happens. Learn how to deal with people who have differing opinions like a human being.
I still don't get how people can just blurt stuff out... you're on the Internet, go find out. All it takes is a little bit of reading. People are gonna call you out if they've done the research.
@XBLSkull the reason you don't see his review on Metacritic is cause he didn't review it, he just felt so repulsed by the game he had to post a rant article and talk about it on Twitter. Someone else fro IGN reviewed Bloodborne.
I realize that these games aren't for everybody, but he seems particularly bad at the game. There's a whole thread on it, apparently he didn't even try to conform to the games mechanic, just tried rushing into groups of enemies and...
I can see it now... loading screen is too long 5/10 lol
In all seriousness, I hope this is addressed with the day 1 patch... cause u know there's gonna be one!
This game is so weird, I have never seen such opposite views on a game. People either love it or hate it. People that love it try their best to inform people that it's gotten much better and its a differnt type of racing game. Not a sim but not totally Arcady. The people that hate is try their best to inform people that it's a crappy game and no one should buy it cause it's sucks.
I've never personally played the game, I haven't been knot racing games for...
@Maxor how about the fact that Xbox fanboys keep insisting that XBL never gets hacked, No one on XBL has ever had their info stolen. They keep bringing up the PSN hack and how so much people's info were stolen, but we're there? And is there proof that it was from PSN and not some other service that's known for having its users info stolen all the time... like Origin? The fact is I heard more stories from XBL users getting info stolen than I've heard from PSN, but here's th...
@Neonridr I'm with you man. HoW needs to drop as soon as they can get it out! The sooner the better, there is nothing left to do in the game. If it is a May release, I'm guessing the servers are going to be pretty empty from late March to late April.
@Yetter Man, if you think 12-15 extra fps is a minor increase what do you consider a major increase? 60? I've seen some PC guys in here buy brand new GPU's and get 10-20 fps extra and they're stoked.
Cinematics are great! When I was growing up playing games like MGS, FF7, Resident Evil etc. I use to love when they came on. When it hit, you know something was going down!
There needs to be a balance, just look at Destiny.
oh man, those look sweet! Pretty nice designs.
haha… low-spec titles. I don't even know what that means. So If I buy the $400 Steam Machine will that mean I'm still only playing "low-spec" titles? And If I purchase a $1000 Steam Machine and buy a game that looks like Rogue Legacy, but at 4K, will that mean I'm no longer playing a "low-spec" title?
I would like to know what define's a "low-spec" title? Is it just resolution and frame-rate? Has resolution and frame-rate become t...
Two different types of games, that's like saying GT/Forza is better than Burnout Paradise... also one isn't even out yet SMH.
Reading thru all the 20% debacle stuff and now this 15% Boost to ESRAM, I npriced one thing.... They really like to use the word "Boost" and I think that's the main problem. If they just simply said instead that they have main the ESRAM 15% more efficient it wouldn't be a big deal. I feel like Boost indicates it's being added on rather than becoming more efficient. I don't know if that makes sense, but boost is a bit of a loaded word.
Not sure if serious...
what @kurruptor said, both the X1 & PS4 will get more optimized code, but both their hardware are set and there's no changing that… unless they pull an N64!
My Acura Integra will never be as fast as my friends Subaru WRX, I can tweak setting all I want, but unless I bolt on a turbo charger or start swapping in new parts it won't ever be. Not saying the X1 is like an Integra and the PS4 is like a WRX, just an example.
@ThePope The only thing that makes the X1, and PS4, from a PC is that the consoles are a closed system allowing devs to code down to the metal. There is definitely room for optimization. PC's aren't a closed system, they haven't been able to code to the metal but DX12 will allow them to!
Oh and Phil, i believe, use to make games. He's a Dev himself, so he would know about coding. Don't you think it's odd that a GPU that costs $1000 hasn't been abl...
But there's a section about everything else…
If this was part of their plan, why not shout about it? They've been slammed for a year now about being the weaker system, how much xbox one sales have they lost because of it? To some people the power of the console means a lot.
They spent 3 Billion on just the custom parts for their API just to be slammed about being the weaker console for over a year… doesn't seem worth it. Like why would you take th...
Hasn't there already been a recent interviews with Phil saying without a doubt that GPU boost would be minimal? I think somone just quoted him.
A bit "MisterMediaX" to think that this is all part of their plan, to sneak up on Sony! Don't we already know their plans? That leak from a few years ago has so far been pretty accurate. Was there a section about hiding the true power of the X-1?
Dude, you should be banned for even mentioning him. I can't believe you even find one shred of sanity with anything he says. Like @MasterCornHolio is saying "Secret secondary GPU" making claims that MS has hiding it away just because.
DX12 is basically optimization for the Xbox ONE. IDK why this is such a shock to so much people. These consoles, both X1/PS4 and even the Wii U, will get more optimization over the generation. If MS/Sony/Nintendo never mentioned an...
Microsoft is so good about advertising their franchise they want to succeed! They know how to hype a game to make you need to buy it. Advertising is something that Sony could learn big time from MS!
