This happens with a lot of big releases, this time its Destiny, people try to destroy/tare it down. That's the just the way it is, it's sh*tty behavior but it happens. IDK about everyone else but so far everyone on my friends list who I've played Destiny with have really liked it.
It doesn't happen a lot, but every now and then the gaming press & gaming community will have opposite opinions. I honestly think most gamers really enjoy Destiny, it's the game reviewers/journalist who seem to be the ones disappointed with the game. The ones who had to marathon the game, less than a week for most, to review it... A game that's is suppose to last awhile.
I find it fascinating that people are still quoting the "$500 Million" figure, especially when that quote was taken out of CONTEXT.
What he, CEO Bobby Kotick, actually said was something like "Destiny is a 10 year game, in the end we may end up spending $500 million on it" Not the exact quote, but that sums it up.
But still, it keeps getting quoted... SMH, the internet is such a powerful tool for knowledge/facts yet not a lot of people see...

No, if you're paying attention to Destiny news at all then you should know that the servers aren't live yet... not live/On whatever you want to call it. Because it's a social game that's suppose to be played with others, not the few dozen who happen to get it early.
Destiny said as much when people were "worried" that review copies were to arrive to reviewers a day before launch... people freaked out. IDK exactly why, Destiny is a game that is suppos...

What would have made this even better is if MS actually released a perfume like commercial to go along with it haha Black & White, man and woman on the beach with the waves breaking in the background... you've seen those commercials before!
Whew... that's gotta be tough to take for Microsoft, but that's Japan. They seem to be "over" console gaming. PS4 did much better at launch, but it's now just doing "okay" if that even.

That would be amazing, but I really doubt that would happen. Having a Full new game free for the weekend will be exploited, people will try to finish the game with in that weekend and then the dev's get no money. An extended demo, of new games, would be great!
This is a non-issue. Let's not be the America that is trying to police the world again. Our culture is ours, that is theirs. I'm sure there are things they find batsh*t crazy about America like: health insurance, politics, wide cultural issues with sex/nudity, etc.

I got to thinking, about the name and all, could this be Nintendo's strategy when it comes to naming consoles form here in out? Imagine if their new console is called the "new Wii" hehe
This is what it usually breaks down too: Xbox vs PS. Or at least that's what fanboys always bring it to, even when the other console isn't even mentioned. These games, not even released yet (QB/Order), are the ammunition these fanboys used to throw into the other sides face. That's the reason why they get so pissed when someone isn't excited or in completely love of these games. You can't even have your own opinion anymore.
Game is shaping up nicely. Those who don't like the game simply don't like the "hook" of this game or they're tired of this type of "hook". People keep bringing up Max Pain, and I can see that but it's taking Max Pain and pushing that concept even further.
