Years old port of a Wii U game? A zombie game, like we don't have enough of those already.
No thanks.

It's kinda funny that people on the internet complain about COD being "copy n paste" every year but then you have those who actively say they want remasters of the old ones and stuff. Kinda funny.

I say look to the future. if you want to play old COD then play it on your old console.

It think Activision thinks the same way. They want people to buy NEW COD games and DLC not focus on old COD games where there's way less money(if any) to be mad...

Game of the show for Sony IMO. Announced, gameplay shown and its far into development.

FFVII and Shenmue were nice surprises but those games are still far off.

Successful E3? They got killed by Sony. Throat slit. Guts Spilled.

This promotion is on Batman's release week, you know the week with that limited edition Batman PS4 that is bound to sell like hotcakes. Looks like Microsoft is seriously scared of Sony's 3rd party partnerships. I just wonder if they'll do this for every week a big Sony-partnered game launch such s BO3 and Battlefront.

You would think XBOs $350 price tag and upcoming games lineup wo...

It means Sony is dominating them with that limited edition Batman PS4.

3884d ago 1 agree3 disagreeView comment

Not really. Sony has the biggest games of the year partnered with them which means some attractive hardware bundles. Microsoft just can't compete with that.

Halo 5 is end of October. So is Forza(which is dead in the US just like any other racing game)

Tomb Raider s releasing the same day as Fallout 4. It'll be dead on arrival.

Then there's Black Ops 3 on November 6th, huge marketing campaing for this game with PS4 ads and most lik...

"Microsoft executive Aaron Greenberg said a string of blockbuster exclusive games and new backward compatibility functionality will lead to a "massive migration" of Xbox 360 owners moving to Xbox One."

LOL! Do they really think those 18 games are enough for 360 owners to buy an XB1 over a PS4? Hell even if they had 100%of 360 games compatible, it wouldn't even matter. People buy a next-gen console to play next-gen games. If people are still so invested...

Why are you even comparing those two?

Do you hear anyone complaining that they can't play their DVD collection on Netflix? No, right? Because that's a ridiculous thing to feel entitled over.

Xbox One backwards compatibility is handled through game-specific emulation, something thats very time and resource consuming. All those games you want to play on your XB1 may never end up being compatible.

PS4 backwards compatibility is non-exist...

what success?
The way Microsoft announced you would think you would be able to play all of you Xbox 360 games.....but you can't. there's a huge catch such as only 18 (crappy) games supported at launch.

As for PS Now, it was never a solution for backwards compatibility. Sony certainly never claimed it to be.

with Sony's incredible E3 showing and impressive 3rd party partnerships, this year and the next are looking to be a very good time to ...

We already knew that but the question is, what kind of exclusive DLC or content are we getting? Maybe a beta?

Why aren't they interesting to most gamers? Because they don't sell well?
Well if we're talking sales, PS4 is going to win every single year. Not only worldwide but also in the US.

PS4 will be the BEST place to play this years biggest games. Batman, Metal Gear, BO3, Battlefront....etc. Sony absolutely dominated the Xbox One this year in terms of third party partnerships, which means perks for PS4 owners.

Good. Focus on the future of Mass Effect, not the past.

Mass Effect Andromeda doesn't seem to be a sequel to ME3 so there's no reason people need to play them on PS4/XB1.

The best-selling games are multiplatform games. Year after year.
And yes, Call Of Duty and Star Wars ARE "Sony games". They are best on Playstation with all sorts of perks for PS4 owners.

Those who don't even own a PS4 yet will see ads for these huge games and then see a PS4 logo and stuff and be convinced that they need a PS4, even if the games are also on Xbox One.

XB1 has all these games on top of some great exclusives like Halo 5 and...

it's a great time to be a PS4 owner.
2016 will be even better though, it has Uncharted 4.

Every since Modern Warfare 2, Halo has been on a decline and by decline i mean HUGE decline. Halo 3 had like 1 Million players online a year after launch while Halo 4 had like barely 5 Thousand.

Is Halo a dead? A flop? No. People still seem to buy it but they stop playing it once Call Of Duty comes out.

Also, 343 taking over development may have hurt it more than COD did.

Sony won E3 dude. It was no contest.

As for the whole "I have more exclusives than you" argument. Are you actually buying all those games? I doubt you are.

I'll be playing BO3 and Battlefront this year just like millions of others. There isn't exactly a lack of games on the PS4 either.

But if you want to play list wars, here's PS4 exclusives for 2015.
-Bloodborne
-The Order 1886
-Until Dawn

That's not how it works. Everything has a budget and marketing(which is what this is) is separate from any money spend on 1st party development.

So in other words, THEY DO BOTH.

Besides, all the money in the world can't create AAA games. If that was true then Sony would have created a true Halo-killer years ago and Microsoft would have created their own Uncharted-killer.

You see games don't just get made with money. They get made...

Yup. This COD deal alone will kill the Xbox One's chances of ever becoming America's favorite console this gen.

On the bright side for Xbox fans, you get the Fallout 4 treatment. Enjoy whatever perks you get on XBO.

These sorts of deals are never going away because these sorts of deals are good for business. Playstation fans put up with getting the DLC late for years. It's time to grow up and do the same.

They started this game right after BO2 released. Long time ago.
Titanfall isn't some godly FPS that everyone wants to copy. You need to get over that. Xbox fans need to stop putting TF on some pedestal. It was an overhyped, over-marketed FPS designed to try and kill Call Of Duty. It failed miserably.

I mean if Titanfall is SO good why is no one playing it? I'm not saying the game is bad per se, it just doesn't compare to COD.
