Xbox has no chance in Europe, no matter what they do.
The region is completely dominated by the PS4.
An article this stupid can only be from GamingBolt.
Sony won. It was really no contest.
Because it's not ready yet and they still have tons of phat ones they are trying to sell.
This article is specifically referring to NPD data which is purely US-based. The lead there is currently about 700k or so.
Yup bundles alone will help Sony win the holidays this year. They do need a price cut though if they want to really dominate.
Thiis dude right here snapped. lol
Console wars are full of casualties.
Yeah if you're $350 console can't outsell the $399 computer with nearly the same exact games on it, you know there's a huge problem there. I bet Microsoft is dreading that upcoming PS4 price cut. They're probably already planning a "Buy an XB1, Get A Free Game" Promotion on PS4 price cut week lol.
Interview with random no-name developer? Yup, is GamingBolt!
You know looking at the comment, all he did was reply with "#BringHalo5Splitscreenba ck", that person may not even have realized he replied to that tweet and he probably didn't even know who Iwata was.
You can't expect all gamers around the world to suddenly drop everything their passionate about because some Nintendo president died. Some people don't care......and that's fine. They should't be crucified for it.
He's a devel...
You know in a form factor that small you would think it would at least be Sony's answer to Roku or Fire TV. But it completely fails to compete with those, maybe by design? It's possible Sony doesn't want the PS TV to have good feature like Netflix as they want you to buy a PS4 for that.
That's the thing though, I don't think people really know its limited and that the games they want to play might never be playable on XB1.
Even lots of people on gaming forums, or on here, seem extremely convinced games like Red Dead, Skyrim and all COD games will be playable. It's extremely wishful thinking.
Double of 5 sales is still only 10.
Without any context, as in real numbers, this means nothing. Oh and outside of USA and the UK, XB1 sales are pretty much dead.
So don't read too much into this. The numbers really are so low they're not even worth mentioning.
You think the ability to (maybe) play some Xbox 360 games sometime in the future will make people buy an Xbox One? I mean why do you think they would even consider an XB1 in the first place? XB1 games.
Sony said it best: Backwards compatibly is a feature everyone wishes for but no one actually uses.
The further you get away from launch, the less and less relevant backwards compatibility is.
Actually some people do which is why articles keep being submitted to N4G about it. It's more of a Techspy thing.
Xbox has nothing to do with Hololens. Why do people still not understand that? Oh right, Mkcrosoft showed a false demo at their E3 conference with Minecraft.
It has nothing to do with gaming though. That's the biggest problem with how this thing is being demonstrated. It's not even related to the Xbox One in any way.
I don't know why people are even talking about this at all. Is it because Microsoft showed it at their E3 conference? Do people really get fooled that easily?
The game will flop whether people want it to or not.
Definitely not. But Microsoft will probably due a $350 XBO bundle with free Tomb Raider so it doesn't have to.
Did you not read the article? People are claiming the console scratched their discs without them ever touching the console. They are claiming defective console units or design.
It's a really small number of people though compared to the 44million 360s sold in the US.
It's probably an acceptable error rate.
