Xbox Music and Xbox Video on Windows is stupid. Xbox Live though? That would make sense. In fact it would be pretty cool if there was an "Xbox" client on PC that would be sort of like Steam where it would be the go-to place to get PC games. But that will never happen as long as Microsoft has a presence int he living room with XB1.

its definitely annoying but the outages never last more than a few hours(if that).
It's not something that I personally would weigh in when choosing one platform or the other since these outages aren't a weekly problem. Sometimes it goes a mont with no major problems, sometimes it goes less than a week.

As if Fable Legends or Forza are huge mass market favorites....come on man. A game like Persona 5 will likely sell the same if not more than something like Forza 6.

1 Million Sales is nothing these days. If it can reach 2 Million lifetime sales that would be great but 1M probably barely breaks even.
Gold doesn't give you dedicated servers.
Whether a game has dedicated servers or not is entirely up to the publisher and developer of the game.
This is what makes PSN/XBL equal. Game servers for all games are never better on one than another. In terms of actual PSN and XBL servers? That's a different discussion but let me just say that XBL has had tons of service disruptions this year.(Notice I said disruptions, not hacks)
