Financially? No.
Wii U is a failure though, just like the dreamcast was. That is something they do have in common.
Nintendo didn't say the rumor was false. They said they are not the source of.....you know what? Forget it. Explaining PR to you is likely a waste of time.
They didn't deny anything.
Game isn't expected to sell well on Xbox One. It's coming to PC to lessen that blow.
Reviews don't really matter anymore. IGN could name it the best game ever made and it will still flop. Does the mean it won't be a good game? No. It's just very obvious that this type of game isn't an Xbox gamers cup of tea. For proof of this just look at how poorly Rise Of The Tomb Raider sold. I'm assuming this is why a PC version was announced, they are expecting low sales on Xbox One....
Most don't have one. I mean why would they unless they are a Twitch streamer?
But for those that do, they are likely to be hardcore gamers, which is exactly the "niche" that PSVR will be aimed at, at least at launch.....
I don't think Sony expects casual consumers to buy PSVR This holiday, it is way too expensive. Let's just hope that Sony makes it very clear that the PS4 camera is required so people don't have to go back to the store and ...
No one is saying that the majority of PS4 owners own it. But this headset will cost more than the PS4 itself.
It is aimed at hardcore gamers, which are much more likely to have the camera than a casual.
They won't. Besides Nintendo is irrelevant in the market. Sony or MS have no reason to copy them.
No one is talking about replacing current consoles. You have completely misunderstood what a PS4K would be.
How do you know the scalpers aren't the ones preordering?
Wii U was dead on arrival though. At least it outlasted the Dreamcast.
Wii U sales = 13million
Xbox One = 20million
PS4 = 38million
Looking at these sales numbers, it's not surprising at all. PS4 came out a year after the Wii U, yet its sales are already triple the Wii U. Also if you look at current pricing, The Wii U costs $300 while an Xbox One is also $300. PS4 is at $350. Again, does nintendo expect people to buy a $300 Wii U when they can get $300 Xbox One or a $350 PS4?
Wrong. So wrong.
Who cares how much money Nintendo has? If they make products gamers aren't interested in then they are irrelevant.
Have you ever seen a 720p local TV channel? As an example, we'll use ABC. ABC looks horrible on my $2000 4K TV. Horrible. I can see the channel IS upscaled from 720p to 4K but that only makes it look horrible.
Video Games are worse. IQ matters much more.
Xbox One is a console. Always will be.
Sure there might a more powerful one released in the future but that doesn't make it a PC.

You mean Apple's strategy? They're the ones who have been doing it for years and with gigantic success and literally zero backlash.
Actually the Xbox One is in much bigger need of an upgrade than the PS4. Windows is a memory hog and a big spec increase would go a long way to increasing the pace of MIcrosfots plans for unifying the Windows 10 and Xbox One ecosystems.
Gears 4 is the only thing keeping me from selling mine. If that doesn't deliver, I'll trade it in by this holiday. A PS4 is more than enough for my gaming needs.
Nikkei never reported that Nintendo made an announcement.
Notice how Nintendo doesnt say the rumor is false? Notice how they don't say that Wii U will be produced and sold for years to come? This is the beauty of PR. It's confusing and people like you aren't smart enough to read between the lines.
BTW, that's not a direct quote. It's a translation.
