With the way current gen has sold, specifically the PS4, I don't see Sony rushing to release the PS5.
So I do believe this gen will be longer than the last. The PS4K is there to make the longer generation a little more bearable.

That would imply a significant slow-down in PS4 sales and an increase in Xbox One sales.
PS4 is currently outselling Xbox One at 2:1 with 40 million vs 20 million.
I don't see this ratio getting lower over time, I see it getting higher.
