There's nothing there.
They're probably getting ready to phase it out. If the NX is backwards compatible and is cheap enough, there's no need to sell the Wii U anymore.
Lol
An iOS/Android like App-centric ecosystem is actually something I want on Windows. It's friendlier to consumers. Easier to find apps your looking for. Also it would generally be safer I recall many applications I downloaded as a kid had some annoying spam-ware installed alongside it. And these were downloaded from reputable sources.
Sony is leading the market. They have no reason to fear anything Micrisift does.
HoloLens isn't releasing to the general public.
The source of this "rumor" is a wishlist in a video game magazine.
Infinity Ward will likely release Modern Warfare 4 or a while new entry into the series. Ghosts was the worst selling of the franchise in recent times and a sequel would never have been greenly.
The Xbox One audience isn't interested in a PC.
You are misunderstanding Phil.
Think more iPad 1/2/Air/Air2 and less PC.
Not necessarily. It would simply be a more powerful/faster Xbox One. People are already familiar with this model with their smartphones and tablets.
The big problem here would be the name though. I mean what do you call a more powerful Xbox One? Obviously they can't call it the Xbox Two. So maybe the Xbox One Pro? Super Xbox One?
Phil Spencer himself never said "upgradeable". Let's get that clear.
If you think logically, he is talking about possibly releasing an upgraded(as in a more powerful) Xbox One in the future instead of a just a slimmer/cheaper model.
Having a console that has interchangeable components is just unrealistic. Phil DID mention the PC market but only in terms of backwards compatibility. For example an app released back not he first iPhone still runs on the ...
Xbox One isn't upgradeable. It's not built that way.
I think a iPad-like model is more realistic where you see new and more powerful models released about every year or so.
The way I understood it, he was implying following the mobile model of constant hardware upgrades not the PC model of swappable GPUs/RAM/et.
Disappointing but April is packed anyway. Plenty to play while we wait.
Isn't this a handheld anyway?
Lol
Because you're nerds!
Don't expect it to be anywhere near the PS4 in terms of power. Like you said yourself, Nintendo makes family friendly consoles/handhelds. So unless they do a completely 180.....its not going to happen.
Look at a Samsung phone or tablet and then look at the 2DS.
You know a baby has features of its parents right? Use your imagination.
They already said no.
