In real life, Uncharted has way more hype are pre orders. Of course it's only a few weeks away but still, I fully expect Uncharted to outsell Gears this year.
Microsoft benefits from this.
Sony doesn't since PS4 has such a huge install base.
Why? Just go play COD4 if don't like the new ones.
BO3 is the best-selling in recent years.
That picture us overused and inaccurate.
They're selling more games because the install base is bigger. This would have happened with or without the price drop.
The price drops have very minimal, almost nonexistent increase in sales.
In response to your second comment below, I do believe that Microsoft needs to be profitable and maybe the way for them to that for Xbox is to release a high-end Xbox One console that drives pure profit. Keep the regular Xbox One as the entry-level device at a low price t...
XBO may never outsell the PS4 at any price point but at the very least it is relevant in the market, even at a distant 2nd place.
Wii U is completely irrelevant. Part of that reason is that Nintendo didn't do any price drops. Nintendo didn't even make an effort to make the Gamepad optional. They didn't even offer a Wii U with a regular gamepad as a bundle at a lower price. They are stubborn and they got what was coming to them, which was no sales.
Does Windows 10 count as "Xbox Live"?
If so this is a misleading statistic.
That would be awesome!
They're not.
Errr......it doesn't?
Most games are expected to be 1080p native.
I don't care about any of those games TBH. I'm sure most feel the same way.
It could be exclusive to Japan. That's the only place Vita is relevant. Maybe even bring it to the West if it really takes off in Japan.
You can't support something that is dead. You need to start accepting this.
They won't make another. It just wouldn't make sense.
You are so wrong.
They talk to indies and get them to make controversial statements
Duh.
Yeah getting outsold 2:1 is such a great position!
WAS.
Uncharted is bigger now and there's no point in arguing about it. You can take a look at VGChartz pre-order data to get an idea at how the games are performing THIS GEN.
