I think its silly to think the Scorpio will really change anything in the console war.
The battle for power is really only a factor at a beginning of the generation, when you are choosing to go Xbox or Playstation. Most people have chosen to go with Playstation this generation. A new, 6TF Xbox in late 2017 is not going to make PS4 owners ditch their game library and PSN just for a few more pixels on the Scorpio.

Sony showed better, and more games. I think they easily take the win this year again.

They're saving that for Black Friday most likely

The Last Of Us was a PS3 game, that's really the only reason we got a 60FPS option on PS4.
I'm fine with 30FPS for single-player games. In fact, I prefer it.

I think we can all agree that Sony's Press Conference had amazing game after amazing game. That was their focus and they nailed it. I personally didn't come away disappointed about no 'Neo' news. In all honesty, I didn't really care as I was too busy being hyped for a new God Of War, Days Gone, Spider-Man...etc.

Well said.

God Of War needed a reboot. That old style of gameplay doesn't fit very well on next gen.

Sony absolutely killed it. Great show.
Lots of amazing games.

No, its a premium Xbox One that developers may or may not make exclusives for. (Third parties won't because it doesn't make financial sense)

If there are exclusives for it, they would come from Microsoft and their partners. So Halo 6, Forza 6...etc.

The console is very early in development. A lot will change by the time it launches in Holiday 2017.
They likely haven't set the 'ground rules' for game developers as to what they can and can't do with Scorpio in regards to Xbox One.

I can't help thinking Microsoft only announced the Scorpio in order to try and one-up Sony this E3. Microsoft would be in a very bad position if they fail to meet that 6TF target..

Still not worth $60. It's a remaster not a remake.

3537d ago 1 agree0 disagreeView comment

Why?
Just wait for the Scorpio.

False. The 2TB version will cost $399.
The $299 version is like 1TB or 500GB.

Go check on Amazon if you don't believe me. http://amzn.to/1ZLCJyZ

Scorpio would be the more powerful console, by far.
The Slim XB1 is just that. A slim Xbox One.

That could make a difference but it's too early to release that this year.....instead we get Halo Wars 2 :/

Pretty much everything already leaked. There's nothing there that's disruptive.......
I mean if Halo 5 couldn't give Microsoft a leg up last year, nothing will.

Halo 5 uses Azure servers. Didn't do anything for the game that any other servers would. There are downrimes and there are errors.

Besides Azure could be used on PS4 as well if Respawn wanted to. It's a Microsoft service not a Xbox service.
