LOL......
You are joking right?
XB1 exclusive on PC means that XB1 has no exclusives. PC Gamers who also game on console can now sell their Xbox One knowing they can play Gears 4 this holiday on their gaming PC.
If you however are a console gamer, and only have an Xbox One, this doesn't really change much for you, except it makes your console a little less special.
Xbox One S = Xbox One
Same specs, same performance, same power, same everything.
It's just a slimmer box.
How is that sad? How are these consoles old? They came out in 2013, not even 3 years old yet.
I think Microsoft has in a way made the PS4 a more attractive option. I mean that console actually has TRUE exclusives that you can't play anywhere else.
Halo 6 is a game that can actually be popular on PC.
I think that while PC gamers wait for that, Halo 5 should be ported to PC in the meantime. I don't see a Halo 6 for at least another 2 years........
Halo 5 PC can easily outsell Quantum Break or whatever other games they've put on the Windows Store. If they care about making Windows Store a viable competitor to Steam, put REAL Halo on there. Halo Wars 2 is to niche.
@Majister-Ludi below
who cares who asks him these questions, he can say "no comment" or "we're here to talk about our box, not our competition".
Phil can't resist though. He takes a jab at Sony whenever he can, even though he is in no position to do so. The PS4 is kicking the XB1s arse and it's bound to make Phil a bit bitter.
There's not enough games on the Windows store that are popular enough to inflate their engagement numbers.
Combine W10 + Xbox Live and I say Playstation 4 still wins, no matter what metric you use. Hours played, bullets shot...etc.
Of course it matters. The more a console sells, the more games it gets. The more likely it is to get exclusives.
Sales matter, not only to these corporations but to gamers who if they end up picking the most popular console, end up getting more(and hopefully better) games.
This year alone
-Uncharted 4
-Street Fighter V
-Ratchet & Clank
-MLB The Show
There's more to this list like The Witness and Shadow of the Beat but those are indie and I know people don't like to think like they count.
Microsoft to my knowledge hasn't shipped any exclusive this year. Nothing notable. They release everything at the end of the year as if gamers only play games in the holidays.....
Already got all those games via the Gears bundle I bought last year.
There are people who want it and Sony will give it to them.
The messaging and PR around Scorpio is a mess right now. Clearly Microsoft has no idea what they are doing. They announced this far too early....and why? To try and get a win at E3? They even failed at that.
It depends on who has the license to the Spidey games now. We know Sony is publishing but do they also own the IP?
Horizon is not old at all. It's an entirely new IP.
What are you smoking brah?
So does Sony have the rights then? Maybe to the whole Marvel IP?
I'd love to see Sucker Punch make a Marvel superhero game. Maybe Thor or Captain America? Iron Man!?
No one is taking away anything. This is an entirely new Spider-Man game. It is being published by Sony. It has a decent budget. Don't confuse this with the old low quality Activision Spidey games.....
No one cares. It's releasing this year most likely and will be more affordable.
I think Sony and their fans will sleep just fine having "only" 4.2TF.
Take your time. It's E3 week. Give us more game info.
Meh.
Xbox really isn't needed though, especially now that games like Gears and Halo are on PC.
The PS4 is the only console that a gamer needs these days.
If Microsoft is serious about the "Play Without Boundaries" thing, bring Halo and Gears to PS4.
