The Slim isn't a new console, its the same Xbox One you have under your TV. It just happens to be cheaper for Microsoft to produce, which leaves room for even more 'temporary' price cuts.
They should just shut everything down. Put their game studios up for sale or continue making their games on multiple platforms. Selling their studios is their best bet though, I'm sure the studios would be better off at a big publisher like EA or Activision. Maybe even Sony could place a bid for 343i. Who knows.

Xbox is a mess right now. The biggest reason for this is MS shoving down Widows 10 down everyones throats.

Make it as powerful as you want but with the OG Xbox One holding everything back, it won't make much of a difference. That's why Phil Spencer is telling people not to buy it if they don't have a 4K TV. Most likely devs will just render at 4K, which is nothing spectacular.

I think Scorpio early announcement was meant to try and influence Sony's NEO. Either force them to upgrade it or force them to announce it earlier than they intended too. Either way I think they failed. No NEO at E3, exactly like Sony said and rumors point to Sony releasing Neo the holiday at $399..
I loved the first one too....and that's the problem. Watch Dogs 2 looks nothing like the first one.
The Wii U is a horrible console. It's not even about power, it's about design. That gamepad is just horrible and its forced on you. The OS is slow and sluggish. Don't even get me started on the child-focused aesthetics.
