Actually I was bored of my PS4 within the first week. I bought my PS4 on launch day so the games that launched with it were mediocre multiplats. It got better obviously, but it took months. I got the WiiU at the perfect time. It has a big backllog of first party nintendo games to play. And a new Zelda game coming in 2016. Whatever it is I'm excited. I'm more of a PlayStation guy, but I got a WiiU last week and haven't had my PS4 on since. Think I may be addicted to Super Mario Maker and Xenoblade Chronicles.
A game from telltale based on Alien could be cool. Where the choices you make could get fellow crew members killed. I'd love to see telltale tackle the horror genre.
I was under the impression that all a disc in a PS4 does is authorize the player to access the game. The game is already completely installed onto the PS4 when the disc is inserted for the first time. Why couldn't they just release it on multiple discs, and once installed players just use the first disc to access the game? Seems to me this has more to do with nickel and diming the loyal fanbase than anything else.
I find all this sexualization in videogames talk to be absolutely ridiculous. What is wrong with admiring the female form? Or the male form? A lot of these games(not all) are made for adult males so what's wrong with showing some cleavage? If I turn on GoT I see rape,sex,boobs,murder,incest,h omosexuality, and a bunch of other things people mIght find offensive yet it gets a free pass because it's based on a novel? Half Life is about a humanoid race traveling from another dimension to attack and enslave us while Resistance is about the Chimera(a completely alien species) traveling through space to use us to breed more aliens.... I fail to see a connection.

Yeah Resistance 3 took a lot of flack, but it was my personal favorite in the series. I find it odd that GG was able to make 3 mediocre shooters(Killzone 2 was good) and yet Resistance gets all the hate. Lets not forget how god awful Killzone 1 was. At least the Resistance series gameplay always felt great and the MP was a blast.
Man I hope so. I put more time into co-op survival than any other mode combined. I'm sure they wouldn't remove something that's been so popular throughout the series since they first introduced multiplayer into the franchise.
I'm guessing it's because the multiplayer is 60fps while the campaign is 30fps. The multiplayer will play smoother while the campaign will have better visuals. Having said that, the beta visuals are great considering we're still over 3 months until launch.
There were a few good announcements and trailers, but none of them were worth an hour and a half press conference. Naughty Dogs panel was awesome though as was the Uncharted 4 footage. I wish they'd have just done more dev panels.

I was speaking more about next year. I know Sony has games, and what I said was a bit of an exaggeration but apart from indies and some multiplat deals next year is shaming up to be like this one for PS4.
I agree completely. At least MS has a big three to count on. Sony has Uncharted 4 and....Horizon? I'm excited for Horizon, but Guerrilla Games is a studio with a somewhat inconsistent trackrecord. It could be really good meh.
Of course we're entitled. We spend literally billions of dollars every year on these products so we have every right to feel entitled. By the way gamers spending that much money blows holes all in your "cheap" theory. Sony wants us to feel like it's PlayStation E3 in December. They sell the hype, so why can't we be disappointed in a conference?And why the hell can't we change our PSN names? I was so sure they'd announce that.
Kojima didn't screw The Phantom Pain up like you claim though. It's not poorly programmed either. Did you even play the game btw? From the way you talk it's almost like we played two separate versions. And again I'm not saying it wasn't Kojimas fault. We truthfully have no idea, but again I'll reiterate that regardless not letting him accept an award for a game he created is petty and insane.
Yesterday I wrote a comment on n4g saying I didn't like the beta. I'd like to retract that statement, it's awesome. Just needed to put a little more time in it I guess.
WTF? You support Konami? Even if Kojima is the one to blame for the falling out it's still petty and absolute insanity not to allow the man to accept an award for a game he created.
When she beat Mark Hamill for best performance I was like, "NOOOOO!!!" I was really pulling for Mark or the girl that voiced Lara Croft.Really surprised Splattoon beat Rocket League for best MP to. I think those judges are a little cray cray.
I own and enjoy my Xbox One, but XBL is no better. I couldn't count how many times I've logged into XBL and see the "games and social" experiencing issues. Sony and MS both have issues that need very badly to be dealt with.
