You just keep telling yourself that. Someday you'll realize there's no Easter Bunny either.
All that was necessary was to follow the story links to find that this "news report" is a blog entry about an australian website's re-write of news released about 5 days ago.
It's about time the fanboys on both sides started reporting news instead of trying to find bogus info to tear down each other's console of choice.
And to Dusty, or whoever he is allowing to moderate. Start paying attention, man. It took me about 30 seconds to track down where thi...
Of course without a bunch of half-naked children to lust after, it probably won't go over well with certain groups.
Just tell you to get f'd. Or load spyware on your computer.
1 day after MS admitted their problems, their stock droped 2 cents. After five days of hammering by the press, it had dropped 1 dollar. On the sixth day, the stock was on the rise again, back up 20+ cents.
I'd say he got out just in time, by golly.
But.... it's only a couple of days so I would watch for the level to continue before getting too boisterous. It could be a short term jump as another layer of superfans jump on it. Remember the drops after the initial releases. This could be a similar effect. Maybe not, but it could be.
not a very good one at that.
Edit: Eminem sucks. I couldn't care less whether he wrote it or not.
that's quite a coup.
he just deferred any such announcement to his bosses during the briefing.
by that logic (snort) the PS3 also has a 100% failure rate. Eventually they'll all wear out.
and one I bought a few days ago. My brother bought one for Madden about 11 months ago, and my niece's dad got her one when Guitar Hero 2 came out. That's 4 in my family. If the failure rate is as high as the Sony boys would have you believe, don't you think one would have gone sour by now?
I am sure the failure rate is much higher than it should be, probably greater than 10%, however, the wild numbers being thrown around on this and other sites reach the level of absurdity; i...

The fact that the 360 leads in absolute numbers is due simply to the number of consoles in users hands.
Now, can people discuss something that might actually have meaning?
for RROD will last at least until all the current models are 3 years old. It might be dropped then, but not any sooner.
This will almost certainly bring a price drop as well as improved reliability. If not this week at E3, then soon, when the new ones enter the supply chain.
Edit: incidently, the poster of this should have his credentials revoked for re-writing the article to produce anti-Microsoft spin. Besides just being obnoxious, it is probably a copyright violation.
The game is nearly a year old on the 360. Epic needs something different in the PC version to attract new customers. It's called business.
Contrary to the belief of a lot of youngsters on this site, no, repeat NO company is in business to make gamers "happy". They are in business to make MONEY. Making gamers "happy" is just one of many interlocking avenues to profit.
If a company were to concentrate on making their customers "happy&qu...
