lets sum this up and get on to something else.

1. $100 price drop for the 60gig PS3. Very good.

2. New 80gig SKU. OK, but too big a price difference, even with a free (old) game.

Everyone can go home now.

'Nuff said.

AFTER all the bad news last week, MS's share price dropped a whole 2 cents per share.

However, I hope the $100 difference for an extra 20 gigs puts an end to the snide remarks about the cost of the 360s 120 gig drive. That's what I hope; what I expect is more hypocrisy.

B. What the devil does it have to do with the article?

thats all he does. Smaller vocabulary than a parakeet, and an I.Q. to match.

for 3 years from date of purchase. ALL 360s are covered for everything else for 1 year from date of purchase. Christ almighty if your going to comment on the new warranty info, READ it first.

edit: I see the Sony fanboy bubble hunters are on the prowl again. Go home and get your diapers changed.

game for the 360; even if it isn't a good one.

That I bought a second one for my bedroom yesterday. To say the least, I'm not worried about it.

What, do you have the I.Q of a dish rag? Oh, no probably just another Sonyboy pretending to have a 360.

I couldn't care less; seeing as how I hadn't heard of the game till this article. I'm guessing its not one of those AAA titles everyone argues about.

make it subconscious?

There is no mention of 2.5 mil defective units. 2.5 mil anything is not mentioned.

So much that I just came back from Gamestop with a refurbed core unit for my bedroom TV.

I have seen and/or heard 6 reports on this on Fox News TV and radio so far today. In not one of them (again, not one, that is 0, nada) is the number 2.5 million mentioned. Just the "up to 1.1 billion" dollar figure they are dedicating to repairs and warrenty increase. They also mentioned the flaw is being fixed for those being produced now.

This doesn't deny there is a problem, but it seems there is some wishful thinking, if not outright lying by some Sony fans inv...

are probably related to who assembled them; that is, which factory they were assembled in. Mine is now 20 months old (well 19 1/2), and is in a closed but ventilated cabinet to reduce dust. It was 105 degrees here yesterday and the air conditioner could only keep the house temperature in the low 80's, but after playing Forza for 4 hours, you could barely tell the box had even been on.

edit: Interesting, I have gone from 7 bubbles last night, to 6 this morning, with out postin...

I guess I was too old to appreciate bouncing apes and plumbers; but I gotta say "good on 'em" none the less.

that the fanboys are trying to kill this. Not surprised.

Hope it's actually in game.

MS got it; Sony lost it.
