The EastOregonian had a story today that stated the two small game stores in Pendleton had sold 500 copies by saturday. Yeah, yeah, it doesn't sound like much, BUT, Pendleton is a town of only about 17,000 people in the middle of nowhere in northeast Oregon. And just for more effect, the Gamestop and Gamecrazy stores mentioned aren't the only places in town selling it. What does that mean? It means that in the middle of ranching country about one person out of every 30 bought a copy of Ha...
that likes it.
other 360 owners that don't as well, but I also know many others that do. A couple of the players I know have bought the Halo edition box in addition to what they already have. All the local news stations showed people picking up copies of Halo (and more than a handful buying the Halo 360 at the same time), and all the local stores that carried the Halo box have a lot fewer available this weekend than last.
So, yeah, Halo is moving some 360s, I don't know haw many but it appe...
Sony doesn't have a leg to stand on here. If you want examples of the sort of things that can be done in the way of a parody, just fire up a Weird Al or a Paul Shanklin CD.
People have tried to stop parodies of music and video for decades, and they have all, every one, lost in court.
U.K. sales figures were released either yesterday or the day before.
Here it is:

Better go back to school, maybe you can sue them for incompetence.
Interesting piece of data, don't you think Nasim?
not surprised by this. It does fit in with Morgan Webb describing Little Big Planet as "adorable", and all those androgynous characters in most of the PS games.
one of the stupidest, most irrelevant questions I've ever heard, let alone seen in print. Who gives a rodents nether regions?
shall set you free.
Wait, I hear something in the distance, could it be... Yes! The sound of Nasim sobbing. Truly it is like the music of the spheres, bathing the world in beauty.
a promise?
on the PS3 is they still remember the hundreds of thousands of dollars they had to pay to have Sony's root kits removed from their corporate networks.
It's all on the wheel. It all comes round.
whom, exactly?
FPSs? Aren't they something that's only supposed to be on that evil Xthingie?
The miserable little coward doesn't even have enough testosterone to list the 3rd rate country that has the dishonor of containing his worthless carcass.
He's probably living off of our foreign aid tax dollars, otherwise he'd probably have to eat dirt.
And no, I don't have a racist bone in by body; but I am fully capable of recognizing idiots, asses, and worthless pieces of equine excrement when I see them.
and cuddle up in bed with your PS3. You damn sure can't do anything else with it.
Maybe, it will listen to your whining.
I'll be first, then.
A bit more visibility to the country at large than IGN or XBoxPS3Wiiwhatever don't you think? Good job Bungie, you to MS. Keep the hits coming, and you'll make it, guys.
but you can also find them on sale for $549 in some places in the states.
My local store has the 80gig/Motorstorm bundle for $599, but individual stores and /or regions can temporarily sell them for less as loss leaders.
Doesn't matter much though, $549 is still $100 more than a 360 Elite, and $200 more than a 360 Premium.
You'll notice this add is for an anniversary sale, and they also have a 360 Premium/Forza 2 bundle at a reduced price.
I'd rather have Roger Young's infantry gear.
