The best thing about paying for Live? It keeps the poor ass peasants out. Priceless.
I was talking about young people as in 20somethings and university grads. And I suppose the fact that Australian worker productivity is 83.4% of the US is a sign of them doing it "right".
If an employer hires a young person who turns out to be a lazy dope smoking slacker, but some bureaucrat won't let the employer fire said bum, what incentive does the employer have to risk hiring young people? Seems I've heard that young folks have a very hard time getting hired in Europe. I wonder if, perhaps, there might be a connection.
Indeed. Countries like Greece, Portugal, Ireland, Spain......
Welcome to the world of software/hardware development. "Crunch" hours (or weeks or months) are the norm even at large multi-nationals like HP or Oce or Xerox, let alone at some little piddly-ass game develpment studio. If workers can't stand the heat then get the hell out of the kitchen, the rest of us have work to do. After all, there's always the unemployment line.
Gotta love those progressive Democrats. Free speech means nothing. The peasants must be controlled! They're too stupid to make their own decisions or spend their own money!
Porsche has always been included.
Of course they are. Bad news must be buried.
Turn 10 has nothing to do with supporting Logitech. Logitech would need to purchase the rights and code from MS to produce an XBox360 compatible peripheral device.
Hacked the CIA and the US Senate, among others. That's considered cyber terrorism. Extradition is already being discussed. They say Club Gitmo is really nice this time of year.
Forza 4, Forza World. Yowsa.
I guess you get what you pay for.
It's called "reading IRC chat logs and Usenet posts". Something often done by people that actually know something about network systems. Like major University professors.
When one bothers to look for and read news some place other than game forums and blogs, they often find things that they won't otherwise see.
For example, Wired.com carried, about 3 days ago, an in depth article on who first discovered these flaws and when they began reporting and discussing them online. But of course, paying attention to the world at large is probably to much to ask of most of the people here.
That's just lovely. Only 900 potential lawsuits (I said potential). SONY really should get a grip on this fast, and they obviously aren't. This latest reported intrusion actually happened before the PSN breakin yet it was only found and announced within the past 48 hrs. Not exactly inspiring of confidence.
Suggest you read the Reuters link at the bottom of the article.
It's called "the news". CNN, Reuters, Fox Business, MSNBC, CBS. Not hard to find if you look at anything beyond this twaddle.
Sony Corp. says that hackers may have taken personal information from an additional 24.6 million user accounts after a review of the recent PlayStation Network breach found an earlier intrusion at its online entertainment division.
The data loss comes on top of the 77 million PlayStation accounts it has already said were jeopardized by a malicious intrusion.
The breach occurred April 16 and 17 -- before the PlayStation break-in. About 10,700 direct debit re...
