I predict an awful lot of time is going to be spent on this game trying to beat the times put in by various celebrities. As a result, I will bet, dollars to donuts, that this game will get more replay over it's life time than almost any game out there.
The PS3 trolls are going through dropping their "disagrees". They must have a diaper rash today.
For the 360 replacement, an up to date fast processor, new generation video processing, more memory and a blueray drive would do the trick.
Turn 10 is certainly making good use of their BBC licensing. These sponsored visits to Dunham are a great way to get the gaming press excited about the product.
Perhaps they can add Topgear America's track and celebrity car at some point via DLC.
A good pairing. It should raise the awareness of Forza in a big way.
Won't happen. There are too many children here.
I just bought a new 360 with Kinect a couple of day's ago so I can use the head tracking feature. It appears to work well in the demos I've seen. If, however, it doesn't, with three 360s I can set up a three screen simulator.
I've already bought and paid for the LCE with release day delivery from Amazon. I just don't want to wait that long to try it.
All I've done with the new XBox so far (I just bought it last night) is run through the initial set up and transfered files from the one it is replacing (a launch day unit that is still cranking away magnificently). When the Kinect part of the set up started, I only went into it far enough to figure out how to cancel and skip that portion, as I wanted to get the main functionality back online first. What little bit I saw of the Kinect's functionality impressed me a great deal. The ...
I just bought a new XBox with Kinect. I'll have to keep my eyes open for this.
I bought a new XBox with Kinect last night. When will they have a downloadable demo ready? Any idea? I can't wait to try the Auto Vista mode and the head tracking.
Picked up the new XBox at Costco on my way home. It's set up and transferring files from the 100Gb disk of the one that was in the living room. Looks like it will take a little while.
It takes a real idiot to disagree with that statement. But then, what should be expected around here?
Some nice cars this time around.
I'm picking up one of the 250Gb Slim/Kinect bundles today or tomorrow (depending on how I feel when I get off work). I'm really looking forward to trying out this and the other Kinect features when Amazon delivers the game.
They definitely don't mess around. Have you seen the write ups about them going around to the real world tracks with surveying and GPS gear so they can reproduce all the little elevation, directional and surface changes? All the bumps, dips and ruts are reproduced on the tracks. Absolutely awesome dedication to getting it right.
There is no Logitech support because Logitech didn't buy the rights to make peripherals. They were cheap and stupid.
Youngsters. I've been playing since Pong was first introduced.
What I love is tuning a mediocre car into a good racer, or a good racer into an outstanding racer. Tweaking suspensions and transmissions or modifying engine setups just can't be beat for providing a sense of satisfaction when you put them to use.
It would be quite interesting if one or more drivers at, say, Atlanta or Road America, were to run their own cars in Forza before actually hiting the track. They could then comment on the accuracy of the physics, the car models and the tracks.
Of course, the fanboys would have wee wee fits screaming about Microsoft buying the LeMans drivers.
