Auto vista only covers a few dozen of the most interesting cars. It supposedly provides, however, many hours worth of interaction.
Porsche is licensed and fully represented in Forza. It always has been. You'd know that, had you ever played it.

Don't worry about the Porsches; Forza is licensed for them. As I understand (maybe wrong, I don't know), GT is not.

The Jeep (really? in a racing game?), the Ix20, the Civic VTi, the Lexus hybrid, the Golf GTI (not all of them, but that model), the Taurus (for God's sake, it's a Taurus). Instead of soccer mom cars, give us some exciting old cars. How about a Studebaker Hawk? A Ford Falcon? A Porsche 350? A TR7 Victory Edition? A 1957 Chevy Belair?
Engine swaps would be nice in Forza, but not necessary. There are plenty of engine mods available, and some swaps are available (although not between manufacturers). Horsepower is the least important modification unless you are only drag racing. What is most valuable for track racing is what Forza has in abundance. Transmission mods & tuning, suspension mods & tuning, brakes and brake adjustments, tires & tire pressure, rims, lightening and stiffening, aerodynamics and differe...
Some of them are OK, some are pretty "meh".
Something like Forza or GT5 with an adequate but not huge number of interesting, customizable, tuneable cars (perhaps 3 or four hundred at most, from different eras) but with an MMO style "open world" driving/street racing/exploration mode similar to the design of the first Test Drive Unlimited, would be a game to die for.
Great. Additions like this can keep interest up by providing a break from the more serious pars of the game.
I always pre-order through Amazon. That way I don't have to waste time going to a game store. I also don't have to deal with the smell of the bad hygiene practiced by the people who hang out at the game stores. Skip the game, buy some soap.
Fox news appears to be rather disinterested. The main story today is about the debt crises. The story about the Norwegian situation mentions only that the shooters manifesto rants about multiculturalism and is partially plagiarized from Ted Kaczinsy’s manifesto. His web posts and YouTube posts are noted and described, but gaming is not mentioned. The only news sites I find talking about his gaming habits are CNN, MSNBC, the BBC and the New York Times. Maybe you should worry about them.
