love how they are chasing the truck with a box full of rice balls or something. mmm
easiest use of patience ever. that change took like all of a day. my goodness.
compared to everything else on twitter and threads worldwide, they call this a taunt? it doesn't even mention the competition in it at all. a lay person who sees this would have no way of discerning any kind of 'wink' or sarcasm or snark.
the whole 'how to share a disc' video was much more a direct jab than this. I get why X1 fans might react negatively to this, but how would this tweet be any different or worse than Sony saying: "The Last of Us. 20+...

well, with controller-less display units, it practically is an ad for the PS4. what a strange strange phenomenon. have to give MS the benefit of the doubt and assume there is a logistical reason for this, and not a 'trying to hide our flaws' conspiracy...
or steering wheel and pedals...
willy-nilly. yeah, what good is buying up a studio like Rare, when all you will do with it is make kinect games and the occasional SNES reboot? what those 1st party studios put out is DIRECTLY your responsibility, Phil. You of all people should not be boasting about the value of 3rd party deals when you run 1st party development. You're basically saying other people are better at your job than you are!
AA doesn't look bad or necessary at all, so hard to imagine how much better it would look with supersampling...
if nothing else, i wouldn't mind it stay at 30 just to give the hardware some breathing room on opening day. poor thing getting put to work so hard so soon... hope it ate its wheaties before getting in that box
favorite day 1 pluses:
- vita remote play (incl. over WAN: work toilet ps4 baby!)
- 2 PS4s on 1 account w/ simultaneous play ok (cheapskates and trophy collector partnerships ftw)
- full audio option on dualshock 4 headset jack (phone headphones ftw)
- 'standard' 9.5mm height 2.5" drive compatibility
- confirmed lower input latency than already fine DS3
- better sixaxis control (flower ftw; Lair came out during the wrong generation ...
1080p native and 60fps? yes, sir!
PR payola at its finest.
i'm guessing it's like the OS music on Vita. just a tune that plays while you're there... would be amazing if they allowed you an option to just fire up a Music Unlimited mood station in the background right when you turn it on as well...
well then. guess i might pick up a copy of knack after all...
you forgot the OS, too...
pretty sure everything sony has said has suggested you don't even need to connect at all to start playing games. your test would definitely be solid proof.
this is about as good as a plug rich could ever have hoped for. i've actually watched a bunch of his videos before. congrats to him on all the new traffic!
assuming no external game storage on PS4, I'm gonna wait til next gen 1+TB sshd's with hopefully at least 32-64GB NAND pools come out. Apple's fusion drive setup (>100GB SSD) would've been awesome in consoles, but alas we'll have to hope Seagate or whoever can come up with something similar and yet affordable. Going pure SSD, though lovely and fast, would just be too much of a hit on capacity, especially if an external game archive is not allowed...
nice and waterproof. so when you wet your pants with delight from opening up your PS4, it will still work.
haha
bluetooth doesn't have the bandwidth for video/gameplay streams. it's probably some sort of direct wi-fi (not to be confused with wi-fi direct) connection.
