uh, doesn't sound like much of a fix. presumably, anyone who first runs into that problem would have tried all this already before saying it was a problem...
it's pretty annoying that you have to snap the DVR to record longer clips... is there no way to record longer clips without having to give up precious screen space?
yeah multiplayer is a real challenge. but really fresh and tense. but i am sooo bad at it... it's the only thing keeping me from that darn platinum!
its european sister is a sag also for what it's worth.
and 2 wii u's actually. he often talks about how he plays it with the kids.
hope you all listened to the episode/interviews. says something about a team of creatives when their head is this connected to himself, his heart, his soul. that was a special anecdote. perhaps more than any sizzle reel or trailer, this vulnerable moment has made me so excited about what sony worldwide studios will be creating over the next several years...
shuhei already confirmed every single first party studio is currently working on PS4, so polyphony would definitely be a part of that. i'm surprised it's so soon, but with PS4's ease of development, we might be seeing faster turnarounds on games as a whole... very promising! remember when GT5 took like 6 years to finish? a very welcome change...
it's not easy technology. nvidia only offers it with its newest cards, and sony couldn't pull it off until it incorporated gaikai's tech... it would be something if Microsoft were willing to let the Xbox stream to a PC... or especially vice versa. But highly doubtful...
theoretically, the non-used cores partially help dissipate some of the heat and enable the chip to operate at those speeds. that's how it works on their PC CPUs at least
no secondary processors... but what do you suppose that 8GB Nand flash is for? Video capture buffer? Actual game data pre-load/streaming?
the larry vs francis video is priceless. nice work microsoft! congrats boogie!
holy crap, this might be one of the most awesome things i've seen a while... PS3 not ready to bow out by any stretch.. this could give next gen Forza a run for its money honestly
yeah, not sure if this really is much better than PS4 based on these streams. but I'd have to imagine a 7970 can outdo a PS4 generally. i will add that either way, AC4's engine isn't quite as next gen as battlefield and shadow fall. you feel like you're in a different generation when you play those 2 games vs games like AC4 and COD which still look awesome, but not quite as 'living'
this is spot on. just timed it myself and it is actually 29 seconds from either cold or standby for PS4. Sony has said that they plan to include suspend/resume for the system a la Vita in a future update which should make it even more instantaneous down the road.
i assume this will also improve considerably for people who upgrade their HDDs to SSDs or SSHDs
that cold boot for the xbox is definitely hurting. especially if I have to turn it on to start watching...
are you kidding me???
xiii-2 had a synopsis included that actually made more sense to me than playing xiii. xiii-3 might do the same, though i'd totally recommend trying xiii-2. that game had really solid and enjoyable pacing in my opinion.
oh man, kinda like the japanese voice acting. would totally dig having a japanese audio track option like with ni no kuni... digging the battle soundtrack, too. nice little iteration on the XIII-2 ones.
haha, she does the journey slide!
that was definitely funny...
was definitely worried it would sound like some sort of bluetooth headset, but no. it definitely sounds about as good as being wired right in.
