Tales of Xilia is awesome. The best one I've played so far.

Or you could stop being an idiot and buy the pro controller.

The joy-cons are for multiplayer games on the go. You bring it to your friend's house and play party games with them. It's a genius design.

I absolutely agree. The motion controls were terrible on the Wii and Skyward Sword was only barely playable with me constantly resetting the motion control every 30 seconds. I think was was down arrow on the D-pad? Yeah I was constantly pressing that to resync it.

It sucked. I didn't 100% it because I couldn't stand the controls.

A whole N64 Zelda collection would be awesome. With Ocarina, MM, and the master quests.

Try "loss in revenue" and your game will reflect reality!

(For good reason, too)

It looks like a choose-your-own-adventure story like Heavy Rain was. I'm not that interested in this type of thing, and the violence wasn't too graphic all things considered. It looks like the player takes control of a strong female protagonist that fights back against the abusive father - I don't have a problem with that.

Actually this doesn't even come close to the disgusting violation of the two babes in Duke Nukem Forever. If activists actually cared abo...

Not for much longer. The quality of indie games has been steadily increasing over the years.

Terraria
Minecraft
Rebel Galaxy
Dex

All made by small-timers, and all were more fun than a lot of AAA titles I've played.

Before someone trolls - yes Minecraft is a huge multi-billion dollar thing now, but that's not how it started.

* Furthermore the budgets of AAA titles has been steadily in...

Arkard - about one quarter of android phone users root their phones.

How many android phones are out there? Easily hundreds of millions.

It's a legit excuse. You can't poop out a triple A game in less than a year. It takes time. If they had games already in development when the Switch was released, that doesn't mean they can just tweak a few things and release them on the Switch - once you begin developing your game to work on a platform it's very hard to change that later on.

I'm sure Capcom will have games on the Switch in time.

Anyone can run an NES emulator on their smartphone and arrows plus A, B just don't work. Touchscreens just aren't as precise as a controller with buttons. Which is why what Nintendo did with Mario Run was the only way to do it. Tap to jump is complicated enough on a phone screen.

One problem is the $9.99 fee. That stands out in a marketplace where most smartphone games cost less than $5 each.

The other problem is you can't download Mario Run i...

I don't want this crap in my games. I haven't played The Last of Us, and now I won't be, ever.

If you're going to make a game, leave your politics at the door. I play games for a break from reality, not to drink your personal brand of kool-aid.

Introduction of HD gaming was an improvement in graphics yes but I think the jump from gen 4 to gen 5 was a bigger jump in graphics technology. We went from SNES to N64.

I also think a lot of games from those early generations are simply incomparable in quality. There were no online updates or micro transactions. You got a more complete more playtested game at retail price than what we get today.

IMO the best games made today are indie games like Terraria...

7th gen was okay. My favorites were Tales of Xilia (Ps3), The Last Story (Wii), and Armored Core IV: For Answer (Ps3).

IMO it didn't have any many stellar hits as the SNES generation and N64 generation had though.

Coincidentally, most of my favorite games in Gen 7 were foreign. Probably my favorite US made games that gen were the Elder Scrolls titles. What's up with the US game industry? Everything is freemium garbage these days.

N64/Ps1 will always be my favorite era too.

I tried monster hunter with my brother once and thought it was the most boring thing ever. Couldn't understand all the hype around it.

What utter bullshit. There's nothing complicated about one retail price for one package of content. Single player games sold at one up-front price are the simplest and most honest way to sell a game.

What they're doing is coming up with any and all excuses to switch all game development to freemium models where they make huge $$$ off of microtransactions. This is really scummy and these types of games are not fun - they just cater to the gambling addiction of the &q...

I had no clue this was the popular opinion of the Xbox 1 controller.

I used to visit a friend who had an Xbox back then and I loved playing Halo and DOA3 with him. I thought the controller was good. A little hard to get used to at first, but I picked it up quick enough and it was comfortable. You don't notice that the thumbsticks aren't lined up straight after you get used to it.

Worst controller? The original NES controllers had corners for palm ...

It would be nice if the "UI that links everyone together" was a BBS style message board sort of like Shadowlands in Shadowrun.

If so it gives me hope that they have a nice matrix-style hacking element to the game.

I would love to see loot boxes banned.

Bring back pay to play please. There's nothing wrong with a monthly sub for a MMO. The problem is that most MMO's follow the same formula of endless grind and RNG based loot drops that make the whole genre go stale and feel shallow.

I'm tired of questing and raiding every day for months (or years) to reach the level cap.

I'm tired of collecting the 13 different materials to upgrade ...

If you play this make sure you start with the USSR and get the KV-2 ASAP.

You'll have more fun than I did.

If you're not using the KV-2 at tier 6, you're going to be killed by KV-2's at tier 6.
