Won't go back unless they add an Auction House. Way too much RNG involved in crafting. I don't want to grind for 10 years to get the one piece of loot I want.
So people who buy a Switch and BOTW later in 2018 or 2019 aren't valued customers?
Spaceflight sims are so grand in scale it's a hard genre for an indie developer to tackle.
Rebel Galaxy is the best space sim I've seen an indie developer make, but it's more of an arcade shooter and you're stuck in two dimensional flight - so they simplified the game mechanics to meet their vision.
Why do you tell us in the first paragraph that these games are awesome and then go on to state why the games are terrible and we shouldn't play them in the rest of the article?
Got in a few online matches the past few days. Sad to see it go. I played this quite a bit.
RIP Demon's Souls
Open world PvP games are pretty niche, especially if they require you to play in a team.
If they had made it solo PvP, it would appeal to a larger audience. Look at PUBG. But they set up the ships so you need a crew of players. People who try to solo will be dominated.
I think this is going to end up like NMS. It's being hyped up because Rare made it. But people aren't going to like the gameplay.
It's sad that to date most p...
You're smoking crack if you actually think this. Stop writing articles for games because you're not a journalist.
Game IP's go to Microsoft to die. The following IP's are owned by Microsoft and are dead because they ceased development on them:
Age of Empires
Banjo-Kazooie
Black and White
Conker
Fable
Freelancer
Microsoft Flight Simulator
Perfect Dark
Rise of Nations

He should get a good lawyer and sue. Sue them hard.
This is absolutely unacceptable. No company should be permitted to let you create an account, spend 8 years buying content for that account, and then ban you for your username.
That's just plain wrong and any jury would easily be moved to grant him financial compensation for his loss.
Sony should have let users change their account names back when PSN launched. There's no excus...
Rare obviously isn't the same company that made Perfect Dark all those years ago.
It's something sad to see.
It's nice to see that there are game developers in the world that still have integrity.
Yes, if you're paying $60 you should get a big, polished, AAA experience and not be nickle and dimed afterwards. Anything else is nonsensical.
I look at labo as a hugely wasted opportunity by Nintendo.
They shouldn't be selling cardboard cutouts - they should be selling a Nintendo brand 3D printer that you feed cardboard stock into and it "prints" perforations into the cardboard so you can make your own cardboard cutouts.
So Nintendo has a whole line of products they can sell with this thing: the printer, the cardboard, construction kits with tape, glue, string, and pulleys. They c...
Thanks for letting people know. I would have walked into this expecting an open-world single player experience like skyrim with PvP. It's not that. It's an open world team-based game with PvP.
For some reason I was thinking everyone would be captain of their own ship, manned by NPC's. I would love a game like that.
My expectations are deflated now that I know it's not designed to be a single-player experience. I don't like team-based games and probably won't be getting it.
At least they were up-front and honest about that. Thanks for that.
Cheat carts used to be ubiquitous and you were strange or very poor if you gamed and didn't have one. They added 1,000% more fun to your games. There's no end to the re-playability you can get from cheat carts that let you make your own codes.
I hate the hyper-competitive mentality that gamers have these days. Gaming isn't about fun anymore, it's all about dominating the other guy and stroking your e-peen. It's sick, twisted, and very unfun.

OVERrated.
The original is overrated.
The remake even more so.
I was not a fan because the originals just sucked. The gameplay was terrible, the story nonexistent, and the overworld was mindlessly empty and devoid of life.
People who enjoy Shadow of the Colossus must like playing No Man's Sky. Same type of game.
The original is way overhyped terrible garbage and of course people that played it and hated it aren't going to buy the remake.
So you have your brainwashed cult of worshippers that loved the first one buying the remake and spamming their same 5-star reviews for it and that's why it has better reviews.
If it was a new release you would have a more mixed bunch of people trying it out and the reviews would better represent the game.
Steam has the largest library of titles because it's 99% hot garbage. Have you browsed games on Steam lately? I can go through page after page after page of "games" and not find anything fun to play anymore.
There's something to be said for GOG. Not only do they keep their catalog DRM free, but it's mostly quality titles over there. They don't let random people sell hot garbage on GOG.
