I wish I could carry 25 CD's and a CD walkman when I go jogging instead of an MP3 player. I don't mind the skipping or the fact that my disc's get scratched up, it's just I like being able to hold the disc in my hand's.

but they were the last to go out of all the SKU's. That was never an official SKU anyway it was a limited edition console but I think they over estimated demand. It wouldn't be so bad if they hadn't of made it a puke green color. No offense to those who like it, they could of done a whole lot more with it.
First off this is a rumor, what are they going to add that would justify a new SKU?? Wifi?
If anything, like all electronics, they could be improving the manufacturing of the components inside the box. But this happens with every console. How is that a negative? Or how is that forcing current owners to "pony up for another 360"?

seem to be having an effect on the stellar games the 360 has received since it's launch. Also, the PC which has games that graphically blow console's out of the water have done just fine with DVD. And before you say, well they have an HDD, dev's can use the HDD if they need to just look at Burnout Paradise.
Here we are going on the PS3's second year and it still hasn't shown that Br is necessary; in the future maybe.

That would be an awesome acquisition. Just last week their was that article about how Insomniac are impressed by the sales numbers of other platforms titles and almost hinted at doing some multiplatform development. I think from a franchise perspective Insomniac can offer more than Epic.
Either way, MS is in the shopping mood.

You are nothing but a droid! HD-DVD was the superior format and MS wasn't going to wait around for Blu-ray to finish it's specs, which is still hasn't. Cheap fix is just bullox, it was the best format and still arguably is.
The HD drive was not included because of cost, not lack in confidence in the format.

If this is to become a standard then what do you want people to do?? If people want HD movies on a disc they are going to have to accept Br. PS: Flow and Everyday Shooter are 2 fantastic games! If you own a PS3 both are highly recommended.
