this game is getting an Open Beta? Geesh, must be a ways out from being released. Ah well, waiting again..
After watching all the gameplay video's off of PSN I must say it looks boring. The PS3 is way to hardcore for this type of game, if it isn't a shooter or a hack 'n slash I don't think it's going to sell all that well. Maybe in Japan?
And what thread wouldn't be complete with out some insecure droid making a game list. But you take the retard level up a whole new notch. Is that the complete PS3 catalog there including PSN titles??hahahahaha
hahaha yeah. Have you actually tried streaming Crysis to your PS3?
It don't work fer sh!t.. You droids are great at lying and hyping thing's that don't exist up.
I own a PS3 and you aren't going to pull the wool over my eyes.
Overhyped by the fanboys the PS3 is.
but the nice thing about the Xbox 360 is you don't have to wait around... and wait... and wait..
You droids could read an article that says the PS3 will allow you to time travel and you will believe it.
The game sounds exciting, too bad with no details in the slightest you should probably shut that trap kiddies.
You lose a huge executive at Sony and you post a RROD video. Funny thing is you have all that extra time to sit around and make video's while you wait for games. LOL
Sony Sucks Balls owned you good and you can post 100 RROD video's and it doesn't make you look any less stupid..
@21.6 - I've had 2 PS3's with problems. Both had bunk Blu-ray drives before I finally got one that worked.
Here is a nice video for you..
This sounds all too familiar.. Wasn't Peter Moore leaving because of the sinking ship theory?
Bravo to your comment.. Paybacks are a b1tch.
What is it with all the English lads leaving the game business?
@2.1 - You are right that not every dev struggles with the PS3. I don't believe I said every dev struggles. However, there seems to be a lot of vocal developers saying that it is and the evidence can be seen in the bad performance of many multiplatform titles.
@2.2 - I said Xbox 360 owners approach LucasArts titles with caution. Reading is comprehension
@2.3 - You might have a point that they complain the first time and don't after. Learning any piece of new ...
Burnout Paradise
like this need to go out of business. Stop putting out shovelware/crap onto the 360 platform, this is next-gen we expect that kind of experience, especially when it comes with a next-gen price tag.
Frame rate problems, hiccups, poor controls are absolutely unexcusable. I knew this game was going to be garbage the minute I saw the first gameplay video.
disgusting.. Racist filth with a touch of Anti-American bigotry!
360 gamers approach all future LucasArts titles with caution.
"This led to more complications and pushed the simultaneous launch of The Force Unleashed back further."
So you would of already been playing this game 360 owners if the PS3 wasn't involved. Expect more of this when Lucas dev's are fighting with the PS3 to get the game started even before they begin porting to the 360.
It's a shame Sony isn't the whole industry. If you consider reality for a second, multiplatorm dev's outnumber the first party dev's of all the companies(duh!). So who is actually holding back who?
Read the article, PS3 people are lucky to even be getting this title.
"Austin did admit, however, that the team hasn’t “figured out the PS3 entirely either but I can say confidently that it looks this good on the PS3, which is an achievement for most developers,...
It's going to look the same and here I thought it was going to be like most of the other multiplatforms and look worse.
So how much did they have to dumb down the 360 version to match it?
They actually had to bring in a Sony consultant for a week? Wow, that doesn't add to your dev cost's or anything. Don't worry dev's you can code for the PS3 just fine, you will only need to hire a full time Sony employee for a week or so to get it so it runs decent. Ugh!
@1.1 - I've owned a 360 since launch and I've never had any of those problems. If could happen, but I am not worried about it and I just enjoy my gaming. That's all I can say, never had a problem. If I end up with a RROD then my attitude could change but so far so good.
@1.2 - I've read much longer articles that are full of sh*t, I don't see why not. Toshiba was involved in a format war, there is a winner and loser, HD-DVD lost. It has nothing to do with screwing customer...
I HATE MICROSOFT!
I really don't have the want to argue all this articles points but just the fact that the author is making it sound like HD-DVD was MS's brainchild, it was Toshiba.
This is just someone with a huge grudge. Enjoy the additional DRM, region locking and scattered profile's of Blu-ray.
I can't argue with you here. Sony has done so much more with there camera than MS has. It seems like MS is using theres primarily as a communication device while Sony is using it for both communication device and game peripheral.
But this article is vague, why am I not surprised it's posted by Brain Cresente at Kotaku, that dude loves to crap on the 360 whenever he can.
How much does PSN pay in royalities for it's indie games? How about Wii? As far as we know MS could be paying more than what others are paying.
People just see "cut in half" and then jump on their fanboy soap box.
you beat me too it! Major dev houses are still complaining a year after it's release that it's a total pain to code for and small dev's are just supposed to be able to pick it up?? LOL!
This is nothing but damage control by Sony because of MS's big XNA push which has got a lot of people excited right now.
What kind of 1/2 assed article is this??
Seems to be getting harder to find anti-360 articles lately. You know all this good MS news this week wouldn't go unchecked for long by the droid army.
The article even has a question mark on it because even the author of this 2 paragraph piece of FUD isn't even sure.
Just like Sony you do a good job of copying the original.
Hey Mart, I think you have another little girlfriend groupie here.
Pre-school must of got out early today.
