You are now dominating the 360 worldwide in every region.
MS you have a wake up call holding on line one!
MS you are in some serious trouble now. I love the 360 but 08 has been a pure disaster for the 360 hardware numbers/momentum/media support. It's a shame because I love the 360 way more than my PS3 and despise pretty much all Sony products and the company in general.
But I must say that the 360 has %100 lost ever bit of momentum it had. It's ...
Use it.
Hrm.. Let's see.. MGS4, Killzone 2, White Knight, etc, etc.. Little Big Planet that is the only game I see on the horizon for the PS3 that is family friendly.. Where do these people get that the 360 has no family games and the PS3 is for the family? You don't have to dig deep at all to see a ton of family games on the 360, heck just last week they released Boogie Bunnies on XBLA.
I can see why MS called them on their BS.
Who has been in gaming much longer than MS? Who has a potential install base of 120mil with the PS2/PS1? Who is the underdog in the console race?
MS is in a damn good position considering they are the new guy in gaming machines. The very fact that they are seen as a threat by many is saying a lot.
Blu-ray is an advantage for the videophile, however if MS wanted to they could release a BR add-on and drop the price of the 360 to be in the price range of PS3. In...
I think it's more money and development cycles that hold a game back vs DVD.
It's funny how whenever a dev says that Blu-ray was a help it's immediately equated to DVD being a problem. The PS3 exclusives out now are relatively short in game length and really the only benefit has been uncompressed textures and audio, neither of which has made me say "OMG!".
For every one of these articles I can show you one where the dev's say the PS3 has been a hassle(...
Would of been funny like a year ago.
Hey I got a great new joke for you!
Why did the chicken cross the road??
.. To get to the other side! HAHAHA
back compat isn't very good at all, just look at the 80gig. Nothing will beat the 60gig's back compat hardware.

waiting.... buwahahaha
Good thing I'm not missing it since my most played game machine (360) has had it for years now.
I thought MS bought off the whole game industry? lol
I guess you can look at this as good or bad news so that's why it's posted here.
The Arcade SKU? I'd say take a picture of this stack the next time you are in and maybe I will believe you.
Maybe you accidentially were looking at the PS3's because those are in piles everywhere I go.
to upgrade to an Elite since X-Mas. Haven't seen one on a store shelf in my area and most places I ask have no idea when they will get any more in.
MS hopefully will get this squared away ASAP, I know of a few others that are looking to "Jump In" but they can't even find a Pro.
The percentage is better but still too high. These are all based on "rough" estimates anyway. MS would never admit to the true failure rate, but at least we know it's getting better. The old systems are still prone to failure so there will always be someone crying about their RROD.
But yes, the 360 is still a damn good system and everyone I know with a 360 will continue to go thru the hassle just because they really like the system(games, featureset, community). N...
The Lost Planet demo and after several attempts I was finally able to join a game hosted by someone in Japan. Wow, this game loses a lot online and it really is a serious step down from the 360 version. Capcom what happened?
This is waaaaiitttiinnnggggg...
(sorry couldn't resist)
When it goes against the site rules? It is a personal attack on another user and an offensive one at that.
I thought the HDD install was optional? I guess not.
Glad I went with the 360 version because that is a long way into the game by the time the PS3 just get's to the title screen.
I can see why Sony decided to make the HDD user upgradeable because you are going to need it if games like this take 5gig of HDD space. Imagine when you get a nice big library of games it's going to need a 250gig to hold it all or delete them and be forced to wait another XX amount of ...
have been spot on about the PS3. It's just that Sony was smart and listened and changed their strategy some.
This belongs in the Open Zone.
