Looks like it's coming to PC after all. Maybe it will also be an app on Windows 7 and other portable platforms. You can't disregard the whole Kinect game aspect as well.
Either way it's coming Fall 2011 and that means the reveal will be at E3. E3 is looking epic this year.

I don't think it was the best idea to start with but they could sell it at full price on PSn with the DLC included when this fiasco finally comes to an end.
BTW, Sony claiming the system was about to go back on line for weeks only to announce now it will be May/31 at the earliest is a crime. They obviously did that to make sure everyone that had planned to buy So-com, did so and now it's screw them all so ThQ and Brink lose out in a big way.

A new console with the latest and greatest would be the smart thing to do. Leave the 360 S for the casual Kinect demographic and the new console with upgradable and scalable graphics for the hardcore that put Xbox on the map.

I agree alb1899, the game is looking great and will easily be one of the best playing and looking games of the year.
@Vhstar, Gears 3 will have singleplayer campaign, 4 player story based co-op campaign and the horde/beast mode as well as multi-player. Not many games are going to offer that kind of value but you know that don't you.

It's a cheap shot, plain and simple. Sucker punch, a third party dev isn't making games on 360 nor is Infamous going to be on 360. It may be humorous to PS3 fanboys and that's fine but don't complain when someone returns the favor.
Bulletstorm is an entirely different scenario because one, it's a multi-plat and two, ALL the doors on that level were either red or green and was paying homage to the 360, not cheesy little jabs from a butthurt dev.

It would appear that Microsoft could very well be cashing in on Sony's misfortune since new gamers to the system would be buying the older title's. It's also worth noting that Kinect, having moved so many consoles and bringing in a very casual demographic have spurred new gamers to try the hardcore title's...either way Microsoft must be happy with the numbers leading into E3 and their big guns ...

Well, the proverbial sh*t is about to hit the fan in the console ranks.
This means that in all likely hood, Nintendo will be able to play the best of the best, including PC games. It also means that Sony and Microsoft will have to launch at the same time. If not, they will have a tough time, if not nearly impossible of beating Nintendo in the new gen.

If your going to do a preview of a beta or a game, maybe you should at the very least, know when the game is going to ship, in this case that would be September. It's one of the biggest stories surrounding gears as it was suppose to ship right now in April before the change.
Gears Of War 2 was not a " mess " when it launched, far from it. As a matter of fact, if you took the time to look, it's a top ten XBL title and has been from the get go.

I wasn't expecting that. It looks like they are embracing the COD era and I think that it's a GOOD thing. New weapons with a nice upgrade system/perks and some interesting maps for the multi-player.

When some one says something like " whats best for Rage " as a way of defining the multi-player, it can't be a good thing. It usually means you can expect a cop out in some way. They said the same thing about Bulletstorm and look how that turned out.
A game about crazy, over the top enemies and weapons NEEDS to have a deathmatch ( on foot players ) mode and I would say a firefight/horde mode.

Anything with a screen attached to it will be the console/entertainment hub of the future and we are almost there now. I suspect that Microsoft, Sony and Nintendo will want to make the new consoles as soon as possible if they want to retain control of their systems and games. There only saving grace is the exclusive that will force gamers to buy their console to play their games.
