They have no choice if they want to stay competitive. They have been behind M$ for the last 5-6 months, ever since the new 360 S came out in June.
Sony WAS making $15-$17 profit on the PS3 when they put out the slim...M$ was making $150 on 360 1 year after launch. It cost M$ $56 for Kinect...M$ is rolling in money right now.
If Sony drops the price, so will M$ and I expect Nintendo to announce a new machine at E3 2011...hopefully so will M$.

Not much to compare...4 player story based co-op, horde mode and dedicated servers. New weapons, new enemies...new everything for Gears Of War 3. Gears is in competition with itself at this stage.
Killzone looks great and is the one franchise that has potential on the PS3...it's the only reason I bought the system, but the game has been a dud so far ( KZ 1 better ) and KZ 3, graphics aside looks like it's heading down the long, dark, murky corridor of sameness. The ...
I guess when Uncharted 2 launched they had Activision and MW2 scared...LOL...MW2 went on to outsell Uncharted 2 by about 15 million.
I'm glad M$ pulled their ads and more importantly their money from that show. It was a massive loss for Spike TV and the VGA's...no Kinect, Windows 7 phone and gaming or xbox 360 really....anybody notice Nintendo did the same and I'm sure whoever made the decisions at the VGA's is now looking for a job.

...and KZ 3 is looking like KZ 2.0...same problems...dark, murky environments with to many stairs and corridors. The controls will always be bad because Sony refuses to fix the controller. Sev still looks and runs like a midget and the whole gun fight in a hurricane scenario has been played out.
Halo has been successful because they listen to there fanbase and provide a solid gameplay experience...no surprises.

I really enjoyed AW...one of the best 360 exclusives this year and this gen.
The blending of story and cinematic action was really well done and the use of light as a gameplay element was fantastic.

Looks alot like part 2 with alot of the same problems. Serious collision detection problems...did you see the fight scene with arms and entire bodies going thru solid structures...bad camera control just like part 2. It looks like they are still gonna go with the cut scene every 30 seconds routine....step in a hole, cut scene, fall off a ledge, cut scene...etc. The gun play looks as broken as part 2 with silly firecracker sound effects and floating reticule.

Big fan of this game. No game is perfect but Splinter Cell Conviction does more right than wrong. I hope they crank up the difficulty and do away with the black and white gameplay which gets hard on the eye's after awhile.
Looking forward to the next installment...who remembers the demo?

...will continue as the 360 is the top selling and performing console for the last 5-6months...still continues to out sell the super computer after 5+ years with the best games, online and gaming peripherals.
Sure, right now PS3 has the edge in exclusives but when you cancel all your games for 2010 and move them to 2011, what do you expect...lol
I'll believe those games will release when they are in the store front window. Before E3 2010, it was the same thin...
I bought it day one and still play the game from time to time. The only disappointment for me was a lack of co-op/multi-player. The game seems destined for a L4D type of multi-player...can't wait.
As for how the game played and looked...easily one of the best game engines this gen. The lighting and physics engine are top notch and alot of time and effort was obviously spent perfecting it, especially the lighting which is a huge gameplay element...take a look...

I don't think the invisibility will be in multi-player. Regardless, I just want the game to release as soon as possible...I hate delays. Graw 2 is my favorite multi-player experience this gen.
I've had the opportunity to play these great games and between them all, there is lots of scares to go around.

Nothing reserved about it...it's called being cheap and letting the other guys do all the work.
Sony mailed in holiday 2010 and really the entire year going back to E3. They delayed LBP and So-com and almost pushed GT into 2011 if not for the uproar the last delay caused...the COD factor had alot to do with this.
2011 is now over crowded with games, forcing more games to be delayed indefinitely.
I'm not sure what the motivation or agenda is for this article but it seems to be not the truth.
I own all three consoles...the 360 was the only console I played this year and the only system with games that I bought.

The only showing M$ had was Forza 4...where are all the Kinect ads and games that are coming out in 2011.
M$ was obviously holding back MONEY from Spike TV. Maybe they were upset with the nominations. Did Halo Reach win anything??? Was Alan wake nominated for anything??? Splinter Cell conviction???Fable 3 get mentioned for anything???
I like what M$ is doing...if your going to ignore the system, then you shouldn't expect any advertising dollars from M...

I know it's painful to see Gears of War blow away Killzone in every way possible...the pain must be tremendous for you. I like how Guerrilla continues to rip off Gears...Rico now looks like dom...lol...Killzone melee looks like child's play compared to Gears. It's not Guerrillas vault...blame the garbage supercomputer.
As for all the gay projecting your doing, maybe you could write Cliffy B a letter asking for a gay character to make yourself feel better about yours...
These types of games have been around forever...Motorstorm didn't invent the genre...lol
