I know they have a budget but I think they should upgrade to the newer Unreal engine 3. This doesn't look that great and is more like a launch title than a late gen game.

The M$ Kinect set up video is about as straight forward as it gets. ALL motion controls require space to use them effectively. You may be able to play tennis while sitting but I guarantee, you will be standing and swinging by the end. The M$ video could be CC'd for Wii and Sony Move as well.

As for the noise factor...does this surprise anyone...O_o...Kinect is quite spectacular and the great thing about ignorant articles like this is it gives people a chance to learn about ...

...polar opposite...bought a PS3 to play KZ 2 on the PS3 and...well...pretty disappointing. I know what you mean about Indigo Prophecy...nobody finished that game. Heavy Rain is really not even a game to me...more like a long Real Time Event. I expect more from a game than that especially at full price. 2010 was all rentals on the PS3...wish I waited for KZ 3 instead to buy a PS3.

Well if you don't have at least 6 feet in front of your Tv, don't buy Kinect...as a matter of fact, don't buy ANY motion controls because you will need 6 feet or more easily for them.

The M$ video was clear and precise, the way it should be. I have to say watching Kinect sensor move up or down to find the floor kinda gave me the creeps like Hal 2001 or something...lol

Unfortunately, the bugs in Mass Effect really drove me crazy and I have never really recovered from. Disappointing...yes, worst ever...Maybe.

Rented Crackdown 2 and couldn't get into it. That game had it's heart and soul ripped out of it by switching devs...a cost cutting measure by M$ and it cost them and everyone ( indirectly related, Realtime closed ) dearly.

I'm worried for M$'s exclusive from these guy's...whatever they showed M$ to secure a exclusive deal was obviously a scam. It's looking like Crytek is gonna fail on console. It's alot easier to make a game with the latest CPU/GPU configuration and brag you need a $5000 rig to run it properly...it takes skill and passion to make more with less. Crytek will NEVER live this down. Imagine what Bungie or Epic could do with unlimited resources on PC.

The trailer/E3 demo could easily of been 2 player co-op and since Rico keeps putting his hands together to boost you over a 3 foot wall...why not. At this point 2 player will do BUT since you run around in a squad, 4 player would be the way to go. PSN is FREE for a reason. It's that simple really. It's an inferior product and that's why Sony has offered it for free. They know they are nowhere near as good as XBL...c'mon, how many times do we have to discuss it. The PS3 is a shiny new car with Paris Hilton at the wheel. I'll be buying a new 360 inspired PS3 controller when Killzone 3 makes it's appearance in Feb 2011. The standard controller is broken in it's current state as has been outlined by many devs. The right stick in particular is really bad and I won't get into the placement of the sticks as it's the biggest complaint about the standard controller. Someone ( a couple manufacturers actually ) are finally listening and putting a couple decent alternatives out in the market...can&#...

I couldn't agree more...the environments look great. I will admit that some of the game play looks very reminiscent of Star Wars: Force unleashed 2 but so what, they are different genre's.

I think this is only the tip of the Kinect iceberg...sales could really take off in all areas of the world if Kinect becomes a hit. Judging by the great line up of casual oriented games, a very competitive price for the new 360S/Kinect bundle at $299 ( Sony's bundle is $100 more at $399 ) this could be huge for M$ and very bad for Sony and Nintendo.

I own a Wii and the price is NOT the problem but the terrible graphics are...sorry, the Wii owns the closet as Sony once famously said. In my house the PS3 is right beside it...lol

As for Child of eden, I don't consider that type of game play " hardcore " but then again...what is hardcore??? I'm sure someone somewhere believes this stye of gaming is as hardcore as it gets...to each his own.

Kinect seems like a perfect fit for this style of game ...

...the console wins every time. There are no 2 PC's the same and every PC owner will have a different experience. The 360 costs $150-299 ( PS3 $299 ) and is plug and play with the same experience for the 42+ million 360 owners out there.
