Sorry, Ninja Theory, Ken Levine is right on the money with his comments. Games have become interactive movies...Heavy Rain the worst of the bunch, followed closely by Uncharted 2.
There is alot the gaming industry can learn from the making of movies but as usual, it's taking it too far. The whole " green-screen " backgrounds are fine as long as the game play is there...which it's not.
Uncharted 2 was like a movie with added game play ele...
No matter how you spin this, those numbers are pretty bad. I think not having a decent original game for the Wii copycat device is hurting sales.
With a reported 37 million PS3 out and about, you would think the Sony Wii Move HD would have " moved " at least a million units. I find it hard to believe this thing is moving very many PS3's, if any.

The guy played like someone who was forced to play the demo 20 times and suffers from some bad A.D.D.
He really wanted to make the demo feel very loose and fast...Unfortunately, it looked really dumb to me. Not using the cover system because it would slow the game play down makes it look plain and boring. Playing on the easiest difficulty also lets you play like a jackass just like him...O_o.

UC 2 is a a good game, far from great. Whats exceptional about it??? ND said they had 80 pre-rendered " simulations " in UC 1...want to guess how many simulations UC 2 had...564...their numbers, not mine. ND had problems getting a barrel to blow up and had to start from scratch to do it...it shows.
The cover system was stolen from Gears. The platforming was stolen from Prince of Per...
As soon as I loaded the Enslaved demo on 360 I knew the game had been downgraded to work on PS3. ALL the mechanical systems, pipes, explosions just looked PS3 okay, but definitely not Unreal 360 okay...sad really. I hope Ninja Theory considers making a 360 exclusive.
PS3 is good for pre-rendered " simulations " as Naughty Dog calls them. Actual game play will struggle on the system and it's why ALL PS3 exclusives are so heavy on the cut scenes...360 doesn'...
Nobody has been sitting around waiting 7 years for GT 5 to release. I doubt that game will move many consoles...if any. If you wanted a PS3, you would of bought one already a long time ago. GT 5 is a game from yesteryear and while sales will be ok, it'll never sell like it did in the PS2 100 million console gen.
Third party is critical to any systems success, something M$ has learned the hard way from last gen when they lost nearly 4 BILLION dollars trying to go it alon...

It will fall on deaf ears around here. Why was Sony/Nintendo in Australia chasing " pirates " when everyone and there sister knows the biggest pirates are in there backyard in Asia...lol.
Australia is ground zero in the battle with laws that the big companies want struck down. Australia is particularly weak in that regard and it is easy to set a precedent there. Sony doesn't even want any website to use the Sony name UNLESS they say it's ok...O_o

I bought PS3 for the KZ franchise. Why are the regular gamers who have PSN being excluded??? It seems to me that this is some kind of blackmail...pay for PSN+ or else be excluded from any betas and early demo's...what's next...on line is free only on Saturday.

Why would Valve be going out of there way to try to discredit XBL??? Could it be because XBL is and will become a viable option for gamers in stead of Steam??? If it's such a problem for Valve don't release it on XBL but I think there is alot more going on here than $7...lol
Since M$ made it clear that ALL M$ published games will be available on PC, Valve has been in a snit. Now with Windows 7 phone and MGS PC intentions out in the open, Valve seems to be in panic mode....

Sorry Fellas...that multi-player video shows why Unreal and Gears of war 3 is untouchable. Those graphics are beyond anything out there on any system. If you have a video of something better, please post it. I want to see in game ,in real time graphics on par with this...Good luck.
New enemies, new weapons, new melee, 4 player story based co-op, New horde mode and new multi-player with dedicated servers...talk about going out with a bang.

I agree the story could of been alot better and I didn't agree with the mercy killing and suicide of a great character BUT the game play was great as always...many great set pieces in this one...like this...

Well, there you have it. The pre-orders don't lie, NOBODY cared about GT. It's amazing graphics and physics and...well...lets be fair, With Halo Reach, Forza CE, and Fable laying the smack down.
