I predominately game on the 360 the most but overall I was a little disappointed in the show.
There was a lot of information missing. It was kinda like they are holding back and following the script they laid out before Kinect was announced and it was steady as she goes with Kinect extending the life cycle of the 360 by a year or so and that brings me to my main point that...

The first guy he spoke to was a creative lead from RESPAWN...formerly Infinity Ward. To bad the interviewer is so dumb other wise we could of got the scoop on what Respawn is up to.
It seems Dice wants to wait till launch to show the console version...wonder what they have to hide???

@Rusco...must be new to gaming. Tomb Raider was/has been around a lot longer than Uncharted...lol...get a clue. As a matter of fact Naughty dog has been stealing away the talent behind this franchise...that live demo shows why. BTW...Prince of Persia is the game that did it all before any of these guys ( GOW, Uncharted, tomb raider etc...) and never gets the credit it deserves.
The only people that could possibly complain about that game play are the butthurt fan...

MW3 blew everyone away, especially those people that make games. M$ has for the last several years started E3 off with a COD trailer...this year was no different...

I think it's a great idea but as impossible as this sounds, I would of liked if it was sold across ALL platforms including the Wii and PS3. Halo did a lot for gaming and why shouldn't it be celebrated on as many platforms as possible. It should, at the very least, definitely be a part of the PC community since they had a big part in making Halo the game, what it is today...one of the best fps ever.

The story and game play will be epic and take place all over the world. This game will be the highest rated and selling COD game ever...that's without a doubt. Kinda feel sorry for Dice, they just don't have this kind of ballsy approach to making games and EA is forcing them to do stuff outside of their comfort zone...it shows. Battlefield is in parking lots and roof tops while COD is in oceans, massive submarines and blowing up cities.

Nobody ( IMO ) is going to beat Far Cry 3 except maybe MW3...Sorry EA, saying it won't make it happen.
Honorable mention goes to Tomb Raider that looked incredible as well. Of course still waiting for Nintendo today.

The problem with Battlefield is it's GAMEPLAY that's been the same, stale thing for years and that is why COD owns everyone right now, including Dice. EA is turning into Sony and becoming the " me too " publisher this gen.

Kinect was always meant to be a casual device. At best, it should be used to add to the experience...not replace it, and it's in this area where Kinect will excel with head tracking, voice control...etc.
I thought the press conference was quite good. MW3 was expected and blew everyone away with fantastic, Hollywood like blockbuster action. Tomb Raider made Indiana drake look like a romance novel with gritty game play and a deep, dark story that shocked everyo...

It's obvious they are throwing in the towel and realize that COD cannot be stopped...smart move. MW3 is gonna wipe the floor with Dice and EA...they know it. They are trying to save face now because of all the money they spent. COD Elite was the final straw in Dice's coffin. The MW3 demo made Battlefield 3 look like a backyard brawler...lol...Keep showing the high end PC footage Dice, you will pay for it in the end....they always do.

I couldn't agree more. This is some really great technology we are seeing here. Kinect and casual gaming go hand in hand...lol
I'm looking forward to the games that were announced at the TGS last year. They look really interesting and geared towards a more mature audience.

Whether they want to or not, Sony will have to keep the PS3 on the market to try and get some of the massive losses off the books...I don't think it will work. PS3 is not PS2 and history will show that when it's all said and done.
Xbox 360 has been far more profitable and been around for 6 years now. Even if they announce holiday 2012 for a new console, 360 will be 7 years old. Who is using a 7 year old pc or cell phone...EXACTLY. M$ cannot let Nintendo laun...

NOBODY needs to worry about the big American company. It will win the 2011 holiday season, pretty much the way it has planned every year for the xbox 360. If that wasn't enough, back in March Kinect sold a confirmed 10 million units. The games that were shown at the TGS are what I'm most interested in regards to Kinect. In particular, some of the horror based stuff would be great in the dark with sound turned right up.

Downright embarrassing if you ask me. Insomniac should make ALL future games multi-platform as should any dev not under contract to any particular pub.
Bungie is now making a multi-platform and will be for the next ten years. I suspect that Epic, who already has other games on different systems will also bring their IP's to the world at large.

I would of expected Unreal 3.95 at this point.
Unreal has been used by EVERYONE this gen because it's that good. Sony PAID to use it on it's 2 big MMO's.
