If your only going to deliver half a game, it should be half the price. Half of $60 is NOT $39.99.
THQ is not consider a top level game publisher. Homefront was the video game equivalent of a B-movie which most of THQ's games fall under. People are not buying THQ games because of the price, they are " not buying " them because they are lacking in several areas the biggest being the graphics.

The multi-player, 4 player co-op and Horde mode will keep the XBL gamers happy for years to come. It seems Gears with all of it's features is in competition with itself this year.
The graphics look incredible and it's only the multi-player! It will be interesting to see some more of the single player at E3.

I agree with point (1) of the article...the PS3 is the cheapest/best blu-ray on the market...to bad the blu-ray movie cost so much and with Blockbuster going under with massive bankruptcy filing, Blu-ray is destined for the has been category...many believe it already is. COD is the FPS to beat this gen and remains so. A map on COD sells more than all the killzones combined and the multi-player annihilates wannabe COD KZ...case closed. Halo Reach, COD, Bioshock, Far cry and any other FPS on 360 run right along side it. Crysis 2 does some things better and those games do other things better.
The PS3 struggles with basic game play elements and while the devs have worked hard at trying to hide it, some times it stabs you in the face like this last gen embarrassing game play and graphics...

Visit the official Nvidia web site for a breakdown on a $600 rig that can run Crysis 2 at 1080p with up to 40 fps. You would have to build it yourself tho...graphics card cost's $150. Of course you can by a 360 S for $299 and play it with 720p and 30 fps.

The xbox 360 version is working great and should release next week as scheduled. The 360 version had some issues when it first launched as well. I don't remember anyone saying it was going to be a bad game tho...lol

Looks cartoony and very much like an pixar movie. The blending of all the edges is what stands out to me and it would be nice to have the dev explain a bit about what it is that has them so excited.

They are just supporting the gamers that support their game. FPS sell far better ( READ: MILLIONS ) on 360 than the PS3. If this game is going to be successful it will need the 360 hard core gamer to make it so...case closed.
The 360 crowd support there games and the devs behind them. Just look how well Halo has done over the years. The map packs alone sell better than the retail games on PS3...well, except for COD which has been respectable if not spectacular on PS...

I've been playing the 360 beta/demo version since Feb, no way it looks like this. The pop in alone would be severe in this sequence. The lighting and draw distance is also a step above. I have no idea why pop in is such an issue in a little map like Skyline but you can't see from one side of the green house to the other without it. It could be a demo issue as the memory is limited but ...
I would say that Crysis 3 won't be out till the next gen. Crytek has said that they ran out of time and were making discoveries daily on how to make games with their tech on consoles. Epic has already said as well this will be the last Gears of war game this gen.
